Today was my first time at Mike’s recycle center and to say the least it was pleasant experience. They not only help me get my recyclables out of my car they also sorted them for me. I was in and out in 10 mins. Be aware that it does get busy on the weekends!

These guys are Awesome! Easy to get in and out… guys are friendly, courteous, helpful, and efficient! I, practically, never have to leave my vehicle! I highly recommend Mike’s for all your recycling needs!

They get the job done. The employees and the cashier are very friendly. You may get discourage by the crushing of cans, but do not let that discourage you. You will definitely come back here because they do the sorting!

I like this recycling center. Not to far or hard to find. The hours of operation are better than others, they stay open late and on weekends. The payout on recycling is also better than others I have tried. Organized and friendly.

Love this place! The guys are so friendly and helpful. They’ll come up to your car to unload the items that need to be recycled.
The other awesome thing is they literally will buy all types of metal from cast iron pots to brake discs.
Will go here from now on to do all my recycling just to have a friendly face to greet and help me.

Im not the type of person to waist my time waiting about a place but when it comes to money… I will… I first want to start of with their customer service is horrible! We go there with our bags of cans to be recycled. Yes we had a lot but hey that’s no reason for them to have a horrible attitude. They acted like if they had to pay us if they helped us… NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL!!! Then we normally get around $ 400 we didn’t even received half of what we normally get totally ripped us off… NEVER EVER GOING BACK. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE…

I’ve been there twice and had the same bad feeling both times. I go to Main Street Recycling instead. I gave them a coupon today from the Penny Saver or Get 1 Free magazine, as I handed them the slip for what I had taken there for recycling; it’s the same coupon they place on the penny saver coupon book, same pricing etc,. They took the coupon, but didn’t give me that pricing. I feel I get ripped off, like they don’t give me the right weight and pay me less for what I take them. This is the same feeling I got when I first went there years ago. I only went there today because Main Street Recycling was closed for the holidays, For a recycling place, this place seems shady.

I needed to find a recycling place, since I had went to the portable recycling place by 805 and Telegraph Canyon Road; it was 20 minutes to 4, and they were supposed to close at 4. The employee was counting money, but said «I don’t have any money to give you». He would not take my cans. I was frustrated, and decided to drive down Main street. I was very lucky to find Mike’s recycling. I did not have to sort my bags of cans myself, and I got very courteous customer service. I just went back there a couple days ago, and I will continue to go to this location.

During Operating hours you might see a long line of cars on the right side of the driveway spilling out onto Main Street. You get in this line of cars until you reach the end of the driveway where you see the recycling operation and booth. The workers will give you notice to do a quick U turn or a 180 degree rotation. You will be next to the recycling Machines and bins and the workers will take care of you, give you a slip and then head to the booth to get your money. You are now free to leave through the other left side of the driveway you came in. I’ve seen some people with huge vehicles have problems with this u-​turn … reminds me of Austin Powerd trying to do a u-​turn with a luggage cart. When I see a huge line then I go to Main Street Recycling right behind Mikes Recycling.

The guys here are super nice and helpful. It’s easy to get in and out even when busy. There is often a line of cars, but they have someone directing traffic so it’s not complicated. I’ve been going there for about 5 years and haven’t been anywhere else since.
