This was our first family experience with MinuteClinic. It’s a great concept, and other clinics might be better, but CVS is mismanaging it. First off, you cannot call the clinic. You can only call a toll free to call center where they don’t know anything about the clinic. We were told on the toll free number a 7 minute wait. When we got there 5 minutes later, it was over a 1 hour wait and we were told by others waiting that they had already been there 30 minutes. Obviously you can’t believe a word of what the toll free said. And then, even if you have insurance, they won’t use it. It’ll take a month or more to get a total refund from CVS and then just pay our copay the way it was supposed to work. The medical care was adequate.
