Rod’s Rooter & Plumbing

Rod’s Rooter is awesome! We’ve had seemingly more than our share of plumbing issues (shower drains, main drain, kitchen disposal, toilets) and I feel like we’ve been through all the SD companies and now we just call Rod’s for everything. Super quick to respond & usually are out in an hour or so. Mark who usually comes out is so nice, competent & has shown us multiple tips to try to prevent further problems. Price wise I think they’ve always been the same or less expensive than the competition for repairs… and they’ve never quoted us some crazy minimum if it requires no work or is super simple issue. Small company that’s easy to work with… skip the run around & make them your go-​to plumbing call.

I had that grey plastic pb pipe go bad. They quoted me much less than the national chain for the copper repiping.
And did an excellent job!

Rod is the only plumber we use. He is reliable, fair, does good work and most of all I trust him. We bought a house last year and needed a few upgrades and some repairs. Rod was recommended by a neighbor and we have been very happy with him. He works with a guy named Mark who is also very skilled. Highest recommendations from me. I wish I had an electrician I loved as much as Rod Rooter!

Excellent and professional work by this company. I am a local Realtor and use many different service providers in the ongoing process of finding skilled and honest professionals. So far this company gets my thumbs up. Scoped the pipes, did not suggest unnecessary expensive work they could have. Prices seem fair and they enthusiastically worked us in quickly. Thanks Mark!

If I could give this guy zero stars, I would. I called to have him inspect the plumbing on our home. He said he could come personally at 9:30 or he could send one of his guys out at 8 (the time we had requested). We figured that he was experienced and said we would prefer to have him come out personally. In order to accommodate the later time, my husband took the morning off of work. However, instead of Rod, someone else came in his place. I called Rod to see what had happened and he started yelling at me and told me he was calling off his guy. I said that wasn’t necessary and we were happy to go with the guy he sent, I just wished we had known that ahead of time so we could have gone with the 8:00 slot and saved my husband from taking time off of his job. He said it was too late and that he wouldn’t do the job. Then he hung up on me. I called again and he again hung up on me. Totally unprofessional. I dodged bullet by not having to work with this guy and his company.

What a great experience! How many people can say that about a plumber? I have dealt with different plumbers in the past, but Rod was professional, courteous, and was very diligent in his work. He has an eye for detail and treats the job as if he was doing it for his own family. He had the right tools for the job, and equipped with everything he needed. He didn’t disappear and have to come back (I’ve had a plumber do this!). Rod actually took the time to explain some of the process of the work as he worked! Friendly, knowledgeable, honest, approachable, and one of the nicest guys you could ever hope to meet. I found my «Go To» guy for all my future plumbing needs! Thanks Rod!
