Came here to try the pizza. The pizza I got was 12 inches and approximately 7 $. It was fantastic I was very impressed especially coming from a restaurant attached to a liquor store as the quality was very high. I will definitely come back again very happy to have stumbled upon this place great pizza and price.

Came here since it is so close to home, and it was an interesting experience. As we ordered our food, my husband ordered the chicken wings. As the cook heard I saw him grab the wings from the freezer and toss them into the fryer with no gloves. I am a bit of a clean freak and have seen how some kitchen rules apply. Anywho, we did have to wait for quite a while since I ordered the lasagna. Customer service was okay, the people don’t really talk to the customers but they are polite. The food however was great! The onion rings were nice and crispy. The chicken were spicy and delicious. The lasagna was very cheesy, which made it so wonderful. I am not a fan of garlic bread but it was also very delicious. I do recommend this place if you’re looking for a good meal.

Nothing to complain about. We ordered Pizza, a BLT, a Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich, a burger, and French fries. All were very tasty. The man behind the counter was very nice, and helpful. The Pizza dough was very good, and the toppings were great. The BLT was as advertised. Everything just right. The burger was very tasty. Well prepared. We asked for bacon on the burger, and fries. Both were great. The Philly Cheese Steak sandwich had a very fresh roll, and everything just right. I ordered onion rings on the side and they were very nice and crispy. Loved this place. It’s close to home.. And they deliver! No complaints.

So I have to say good pizza good price for the area it’s located in. After searching for a whole in the wall pizza place with bomb diggity(yeah I said it 90’s slang) flavor I have located it. I placed an order for pickup I wanted a decent size for me and little man so I ordered a medium thinking it would be just enough to leave some left overs well… A medium seemed more like a small and it went fast. So now I know next go for the large for two people. The flavor was there and did I mention it’s right next to the liquor store with the crazy selection of beer and wine good combo.

I used to live around the corner from this place and I honest forgot how amazing their pizza is. I love how much flavor goes into their food and for the price you cant beat it. I usually order the 20″ cheese, pepperoni, bacon & onions. Only a few places have been able to pass my taste test. This place is one of them. Anyway I ordered from them the other night and again pizza was on point! I will continue to order from them. You wont regret it!

I’m a big pizza fan! I’ll eat pizza from anywhere. So I’ve tried a lot of different pizza places. This is truly one of the best pizza shops in San Diego! You don’t have to wait to long for your order, really friendly customer service! I’d give 6 stars if I could.

The pizza is so damn good, the crust is my favorite. I love that they offer a pizza that barley fits through my door. Worth every penny. They are my go to pizza place.

I love this place. It’s really some of the best pizza in the area for the value. The beer and wine selection is massive and the employees are really friendly. I used to live in the apartment complex across the street back in 2001 and would frequent much more, so I was glad to hear the same people owned the place. Kinda pricey on some bottled craft beers, but a super sexy selection. Totally worth it.

I was referred here by a friend and I must say this is our new go-to pizza spot! Everything was so fresh and the people that work there are so friendly. The pizza was amazing. Also the liquor store attached has a huge and great selection of wine and craft beers. Perfect combination! Also, the price is so much better than any other pizza chain. Can’t wait to come back!

A nice liquor store with an attached deli. The deli is a pretty good size offering pizza, deli, and sandwich items. This visit I had a sandwich which was pretty good. They toast the bun which adds a good flavoring to it. Their pizza is pretty good also. I have had their pizza to go and service was quick. The beer selection is decent. Now and then they have something special so it is good to check in every now and then just to see what is new. They also have the usual mini mart type items like wine, soda, and candy. Staff is friendly and there is plenty of parking available.

By far my favorite liquor store! Sam, Mark and the rest of the staff are always so friendly and personable! They have a huge selection of beer, wine and liquor to chose from, and the staff are always quick to help find something or to offer recommendations!

Like most people, I love pizza. But for me that’s really an understatement because when I have a craving for pizza, I will drive all the way to Long Beach. Yes, that’s right, I’ll drive all the way to Long Beach just for a pizza; the place I go to up there is that good! And I’ve been going there for about 40 years… that is until I tried the pizza here at Whispering Trees Market! A Unilocal friend of mine posted a picture and the pizza looked so good I just had to drive down to this place and try it. I’ve tried so many pizza places in San Diego and none come close to my favorites up in Long Beach… again, until I tried WTM. I followed my GPS and arrived at a liquor store parking lot. I thought I had the wrong address when I saw through a small window a stack of pizza boxes so I figured I was in the right place. I went inside and they have a couple of tables and most of them were full with other people who were waiting for their pizza. They have standard size pizzas and all the usual toppings but they also have super large pizzas. We ordered a large pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, olives and jalapeño. While we were waiting I walked into the market part of the store as they seemed to have a large selection of wines. What I saw next just shocked me. I found Cuvaison Cabernet which is almost impossible to find outside of the winery. The first time I had Cuvaison was at an Italian restaurant in La Jolla and I was hooked. I’ve been to the winery and love their Cab but aside from going to the winery or ordering on line it’s almost impossible to get and here they had a dozen bottles. I’ve even asked many of the specialty wine stores in San Diego and Del Mar if they could get it and none ever did. As I browsed through their wines I was absolutely stunned at how many great wines they have! I have to say from the outside, I never would have guessed they have the wine selection they do. When the pizza was ready, we were taking it home, but it looked so good, I wanted to try it hot so we sat down and had a slice. I would say my only regret was not opening up the bottle of Cuvaison I just bought and having a glass with the pizza. While I won’t go so far as to say it’s better than my favorite pizza in LB, I now have found the next best thing to going to Long Beach, but without a doubt, the BEST pizza in San Diego County. And the prices are incredible. The large with all the toppings we ordered was less than $ 15. I don’t know how much the extra large pizza is but they have great prices. I’ve been to Pizza Port, Filippi’s, Bronx Pizza, and so many other places that have been rated as some of the best, but I am telling you to give this place a try. Even if you live in North County like I do, it’s worth the drive down south for this amazing pizza, especially if you are a wine lover. Check out their wines while you are waiting on your pizza. I can’t wait to go back.

Lived in Chula Vista for a year in 2006 –2007. The pizza i miss, i live in seattle and on occasion i have driven down there just to have there pizza. There is no other place in the United States that even comes close to the flavor and texture of the pizza they make. I almost wish i never moved.

Best pizza in SD, super fresh ingredients and great customer service they always hook me up. I always get the pizza extra crispy and don’t even get me started on their beer and alcohol selection. Great one stop shop for craft beer, food and alcohol. They even have cigars!

The pizza omg the pizza. I wanted to get the classic«pizza hut”(my fav) but the boyfriend wanted to try something new so he found this –whispering tree– place… and wow the pizza was sooo good. It had so much toppings and cheese that the bread folded to the weight of all the delicious topings. 2 slices latter i am soooo full… looks like ima have pizza for breakfast too :)
