BEWARE!!!
I found this place by quickly Unilocaling phone repair in this particular area. Without really looking at the reviews, I decided that it’s 4.5 stars was enough for me to bring my phone in. This is truly a hole in the wall place. At first, I gave the guy the benefit of doubt, considering the area is an older part of chula vista.
I knew my charging port was partially corroded from an accidental drop at the beach 6 months ago, and the guys at the apple store had mentioned it a few times, but my phone was able to charge until last december. The guy changed my battery, and told me it was charging. I mentioned the charging port to him, and he said he would have a look at it. After doing this, he told me it looked fine, and «cleaned» it. He told me to hang on to my original battery just in case it was the charging port that was the problem, in which case, he would then apply credit to changing that instead of the battery.
I paid $ 40 for a «new» battery, one that I ended up having to take out and replace with the original battery because it was bad. I tried calling this guy to get it fixed, but each time, my calls were dodged. I called with other phone numbers, all of which went to a voicemail for his actual cell phone number.
After my bad experience, I took a closer look at all the previous reviews. I have no doubt that most of the 5 star reviews are from people this guy knows. Just save your time and money and go elsewhere.
One more thing: this place is open at their convenience. There’s no need for the hours of operation posting on the window, because I stopped by a few times after, all times within those hours of operation, and the shop was closed every single time.

Oh my goodness the only thing I can say is quick fast and easy. I walked right in explained the problem they were able to diagnose the problem right away. This saved me so much time. If I had gone to my local carrier it would have been the cost of a new phone and starting all over again. Instead the employee reassured me this is just a common problem that was simple and easy to fix. I was literally in the store for a whole 20 minutes and walked out the door with my phone once again in working.

I took my Samsung Galaxy S3 as the charging port wasn’t working. A guy called Alex «fixed» it as soon as I am walking out from this place, I made a call and they were not able to hear me. He looked at it and told me that all he did was to replace the charging port buy my phone was working perfectly fine before I took it to him to replac the charging port.; He also said that he was going to try to fix it, he ordered a microphone and took him 3 weeks to receive it with no calling for a status!!! Then I came back and he tried to fix it and it didn’t work. Then he told me that the motherboard could be damaged but wan’t going to take responsibility for that!!! I just submitted a complaint to the Business Bureau.
Business like this shouldn’t be open. I spent $ 65, replaced charging port but the microphone doesn’t work so they can’t hear me while on the phone.

I have brought quite a few of my idevices to Alexi and had great experiences and for that maybe I should leave more than one star. But my last experience with Alex, I brought in my mini ipad that had a crack on the bottom of the screen. Alex repaired it but there was some damage with the part that was put on causing the screen to not work properly. He told me I can bring it back and he would fix it. I dropped it off and then didn’t hear back from him for three weeks. We called and went by his shop many times but the shop was never open. When we finally got it back he said it would be done on Saturday, I gave him until Monday and when I pulled in he said he was just finishing it. I got home to find out the ipad still had the same problem. I again tried to contact him and went by his shop for over a week, and never was able to get a hold of him. I spent $ 95 for him to repair the crack screen for my ipad to not work. I had to take it to another shop and spend $ 120 to fix Alex mistake!!! BE VERY AWARE!!!

Worst place ever. I do NOT recommend. I left my Sony Xperia z2 in this guys hands, he gave me his word that he could fix it. I needed to wait for my screen to arrive, he told me 3 – 4 day wait. Today I gave up on this guy, it’s been 3 weeks and he never bothered calling me on status or answer my calls I finally threw a rant telling him he’s unprofessional that’s not a way to run a business and he finally texted me back saying my screen did arrive but it was defective… took another week and said he missed USPS because he wasn’t there… so I get screwed over… If you can’t fix it just tell me don’t beat around the bush I waited for nothing. Go to JTI wireless on convoy, they’re an actual business and have much better pricing and have more then just themselves as employees very informative too gonna take it now since this guy couldn’t handle it. Disappointment, so upset that I created a Unilocal account to leave this review

My iphone 5 battery charge drains so fast even when it still say it has 46% charge it shuts down. So I went to Unilocal and looks for a wireless repair shop around my area and saw Alex shop has the best reviews and he is highly recommended from his previous customers. Thus, I called to inquired the cost to replace my battery and its the same as Bonita mall wireless repair shop quote but his quote covers the parts, labor, and with 6 months warranty. I Drove to his repair shop and in 5 mins the iPhone 5 battery is replaced. Now iPhone batt charge is just like new when I first got the iPhone two years ago. Alex provided an awesome customer service and he even offered to wait for me and extend 30 mins until he close his store. I highly recommend Alex if you have any Computer and wireless phone that needs repair he is the go to guy on the rescue that will surely take care of your problem fast and with warranty.

Why do I say that, you ask?
Because my fish must’ve told him they needed to make a call. Why else would he plop my iPhone 5s into the fish tank?
After sitting in a bowl of rice for a couple of days, my phone started up again. Yeay! But after 2 weeks, it just gave out.
Wireless Repair Techs was the closest iPhone repair place we could find. We came in and upon arrival he quickly disassembled my phone. He replaced the battery and the screen, but my phone wouldn’t restart still.
He looked deeper and found that my phone was corroded from the rootie to the too tie. He suggested that we take it to the Apple store to get a warranty exchange.
We thought he was going to charge us an arm and a leg for the diagnosis and emergency surgery, but he didn’t charge us a dime for his time.
I will think of him next time I need help with my phone again. :-)

it has been weeks me charging my htc one sv w/​rubber bands holding the charger to keep it at a charge. but today i went in and i was quoted a reasonable price to fix that problem. he fixed it on the spot (10mintutes) and even gave me a 6 month warranty if the same problem occurs. i highly recommend this place!!! i’m bringing my daughter’s tablet next.

The worst case scenario had happened: my father’s Galaxy Note 3 fell from his pocket and the LCD was pitch black dead. Considering his job depends on the phone, we needed a fast and reliable service ASAP. Unilocal lead us to this shop and boy! We were impressed! Alex knows his gig, how to do it quick and clean and in the end saved my father from peril. Thanks so so much: D

Alex was AWESOME! I had dropped my phone and cracked the screen I waited until to it fixed and by this time my screen was almost completely blacked out! I was sure when I brought it in that Alex was going to tell me that me phone was a goner. I was able to leave my phone over night with Alex and he was able to fix it and some how the screen looks BETTER THAN IT DID OUT OF THE BOX! Well worth the cost of fixing it awesome customer service and fast too. I will defiantly go back for any electronic repair needs.

Alex provided great service at a great cost. I shopped around and this was the spot. I was so pleased with his service of my Samsung note 2 that I took my old Samsung galaxy sii and he got it working as well.

, I’ve been going to Alex for years when he was other places glad he’s got his own store now he’s very honest and takes his time with your item to make sure its fixed properly the very first time and he’s very very reasonable on his prices & for the most part can have your items back to you within a few hours or at the most a day or two if parts aren’t in stock i highly recommend him to anybody that has any repair problems Android, iPhone, iPod, iPads he does it all and very friendly service& MOST IMPORTANT HONEST!!!
