Appropriate Janitorial

Bought Livingsocial deal and called to schedule an appointment for window cleaning. I called the number listed Sunday afternoon and was redirected to Tony who scheduled the appointment for Tuesday at 11am. By Tuesday at 1130 I had yet to hear anything. I called Tony and he said he had to cancel because he no longer does window cleaning for the company. How does something like that change in 2 days and why would you not notify and cancel appointments beforehand? Very unprofessional. Called main number back and she acted like it was completely normal. Thank goodness Livingsocial was able to refund both vouchers we had purchased totaling about $ 200.

I hired them for a 3 hour cleaning service. I have a fairly clean house to begin with but was pregnant and wanted someone to help me. In the entire 3 hours that she was there all she did was mop the kitchen floor, and two bathroom floors. I have never seen anyone move so slow. On top of that she also used a dirty, smelly mop that lingered in my kitchen for a few hours after she left. Her cleaning was so horrible that she left dirt streaks behind. I actually had to re-​clean all the areas she cleaned. I tried to call the manager, but of course I never got a hold of anyone or even received a phone call back. I would not recommend them to anyone!

I bought a Groupon for Appropriate Janitorial and I must say that the work was never done! Thanks to Groupon for refunding my money. Like others on here have stated, they never return phone calls, messages, texts or emails. I would not recommend this to anyone. What a rip off.
Funny thing too, as soon as I contacted Groupon about my problem, I get a coupon in my email for 50%off any service! What a scam!

I found this company on Groupon and bought their interior and exterior window cleaning package. After some initial difficulty (they called to reschedule the first appointment) the owner came to my home and performed the work to my satisfaction. I found her to be very pleasant and hard working which made up for the initial inconvenience. I am giving this business an extra star based on the likability of the owner. Overall the service is a good value.

Last fall I had them clean my windows. The man who did it left a lot of drips and streaks. The screens were not done (he ran out of time) and between screens and windows was not done. I was told he was new and that they would gladly redo my windows. The owner actually came and washed the windows beautifully and thoroughly and did the screens but the insides (especially attic windows) were not done well.

I bought a Groupon for window washing and called the same day to schedule an appointment. I received an appointment for the following Saturday. The next day they called back and asked specific questions about my windows. As if by magic, later that same day someone came to my home to try to sell me new windows! What a treat! They said they ‘noticed’ we had older windows. Seems they only ‘noticed’ our windows because they came straight to our house and when I turned them away, they left the neighborhood without trying to sell anyone else windows. Appointment day came and it was raining so they called to reschedule during the week. My husband took a half day to meet them and they didn’t show up. I called the man who was supposed to come and got voice mail. I called the main number and was told that this was very unlike him and that something must have happened. Since I still haven’t heard from him nearly a week later, I can only assume that he has been kidnapped by aliens or something.
Save yourself the aggravation. Stay away from this company.

The work done was extremely shoddy. I would not recommend usig this company.

I bought a Groupon in the spring for window cleaning for 20 windows. I called 5 times and emailed twice before I even heard back from them. I was finally able to make an appointment for a Saturday because I work. The day of my appointment came and the person who was supposed to come called a half hour before the appointment and said she had a family emergency and couldn’t come. She asked if she could come Monday, which wasn’t ideal because I work, but I said it was ok. Monday came and she called and said she couldn’t remember if she was supposed to come Monday or Wednesday. I told her it didn’t really matter, either day was fine. She said Wednesday would be better for her, which again was fine with me. Wednesday came and she didn’t show up. I’m assuming they don’t have the manpower to keep up with the Groupons they’re selling. I’ve asked for my money back – I give up on this company.
Update: I contacted who I assume was the owner/​manager of the company, and she was extremely apologetic about the situation and asked if she could do it herself. I made another appointment for about 3 weeks later and, not surprisingly, she called me about an hour before the appointment and said she was overbooked and asked if she could reschedule. Unbelievable! So I again made another appointment, same thing; they guy called two hours before my appointment and said he was on my street and I wasn’t there (duh) and asked if I wanted to reschedule. At this point I had no hope that they were going to do it, so I said fine and rescheduled for the next day, and, shockingly, they did not show up. DO NOT work with this company. Along the way, I got an earful from her contractors about what a terrible company this is and how poorly run it is. I did get my money back from Groupon (sort of – they gave me «Groupon bucks» to get something else) and have given up on this company!

I bought a Living Social deal for 3 2-​hour cleaning sessions. The first one was okay. But scheduling the other two has been impossible. There is no service, just voicemail. You are told in the VM that you can text them or email them via FB. I texted them a month ago. Nothing. I emailed a week ago. Nothing. Very unprofessional. Very frustrating.
