We found some good stuff here, like a Babies R Us-only set of Philips Avent baby bottle warmer and sterilizer that also includes 4 bottles and 2 pacifiers. A huge selection of car seats, strollers, joggers, gliders and bouncers were on display. Sometimes their prices beat Amazon’s. Some employees are more helpful than others. There’s a little community board announcing upcoming birth-related and infant care-related classes.

my review to the babies r us here is almost similar to the one I’ll write to toys r us at Kenwood. while at kenwood you’d imagine not being so helpful with the baby registry stuff since they are divided between toys and babies, the babies r us here wasn’t at all better in this matter either!!! If they let you write a title to the review on Unilocal, mine would be «The most inefficient staff you’d ever encounter!» I searched around and asked friends about the best place to open a baby registry and in the end I decided on opening two, one here and another on amazon. I wish I could have it all on Amazon but it wasn’t convenient for many friends who don’t usually shop online! first, whenever you want to talk to a registry staff, there’s only one that is helping another costumer while the others can’t help you because they’re pretending to do something more important on the computer! so you have to wait like 15 minutes until this person finishes explaining everything about registries to the person in front of you when you only wanted one moment just to grab the scanner machine to update your registry. secondly, when you roam around looking for the products you want, you rarely find someone to ask for help in case you have questions and when we finally found someone he wasn’t helpful at all. at one time, we were having troubles knowing how to take off the napper from a pack and play so asked for his help. he tried but wasn’t able to take it off too so he just said it looks like you can’t take it off! which is not true because we searched online and it was supposed to be taken off!!! lastly, after I had my baby shower and it was time for me to buy everything left on my registry I came to the store and asked them about my 15% completion coupon which I was promised to have almost a month before my due date, but the registry staff looked at me as if I’m talking about something he had never heard of… he told me that they don’t have such thing in their registry policy and it’s only a 10% rewards back for the things that were bought from the registry… I kept arguing that this is not what they explained to me when I opened my registry here and that’s considered deceiving if it’s not true, so he asked his boss and she/he also said that they don’t have such thing!!! so guess what I came back home searched online for their policy and found it there… I contacted costumer service and within a week my coupon was sent home. In the end I bought everything left on my registry online and that was the best and easiest part of everything related to babies r us. if you want to open your registry here be advised about lots of headaches with unqualified staff and be prepared to contact costumer service to get your things done.

Like my review of Toys R Us, I will say Meijer, Walmart, and Target have better prices. People go to Babies R Us for the variety. They seem to cater more to the baby(hence the name,) than they do the toddler. Not as much toddler clothing as baby. Kohls would probably be a better choice for toddler clothing. They were having a clearance on clothes. I did find 1 pair of shoes in my daughter’s size. That was it. No other clearance items in her size. I don’t mean that I liked, I mean no other items at all. The store was clean. Pleasant employees.

Rude service from Jeff and Chuck. They would not help me find the bedding set I needed and I ended up having to go to the Babies R Us in Kenwood.

After a failed trip to the Kenwood Babies R Us, we completed our baby registry at the Cincinnati Mills location. Talk about a difference! This store has a huge selection and helpful registry associates. If you’re registering or shopping for a registry, this location is your best option for seeing the largest variety of Babies R Us stock. It’s baby stuff, so the markup is pretty high. If you’re budget-conscious, I’d recommend price comparisons with Amazon.

A few employees are helpful, but overall, this store is often a depressing experience. Their sale items often come with so many conditions that it is almost impossible to take advantage of them. Linger around the cash registers and listen to how often the staff rejects coupons. Here’s a hint: if you put something on sale with tons of conditions, you’re only going to piss off your customers. Either put it on sale or don’t. Similarly, I’ve never had any benefit from the benefits card or whatever it is they call it… it’s tease and a waste. Lastly, the photography studio is almost always empty, but if you go there, you need an appointment. I went there a few months back: «sorry all booked up for the next few hours” – it was empty. I left the store a half hour later – the studio was still empty and was the whole time.

My wife and I started our registry here for our new daughter. The people they have to explain to everyone, everyday, are wonderful explaining how easy it is to create a registry at their store. Every time we are there looking around there is always, ALWAYS someone there to see if you need anything. This place has some of the best customer service around.
