History

Established in 1997.

My father owned an ice cream parlor and started repairing his own refrigeration equipment. Soon he became proficient and started repairing his friend’s equipment also. In 1947, he closed his parlor and started S. A. Fish Refrigeration. I began working in the family business as soon as I could drive. After completing my college education, I returned home and joined him. In 1977 dad retired and I incorporated the business as S. A. Fish Cooling and Heating, Inc.

Don Baker was working for another HVAC company and decided to branch out on his own with RAHCO Refrigeration. In 1975 he incorporated his business as Baker Services, Inc.

Tom Bauer joined Don in 1978 and soon became a shareholder.

Through the years, Baker Services, Inc. acquired General Heating and Bonded Heating.

In 1993 S.A. Fish Cooling and Heating, Inc. merged into Baker Services, Inc and the two companies started doing business as Baker, Bauer, and Fish Cooling and Heating.
