Bembe’ is a Dance Company focused on the Cuban Culture and it’s dances.

We teach Cuban Salsa (Casino), Rueda de Casino, Son, and Rumba.

Casino is a Cuban dance that has a very similar look to Salsa dancing. In fact, most people call it Cuban Salsa. We focus on building dancers that understand music, how to lead and follow your partner, footwork and moving that body! Great Cuban dancers can dance to any Latin song, with any person.

We are looking to build solid dancers, but in a fun and energetic environment! Oh yea, and you will be sweating, so dress comfortable!

History

Established in 2014.

Bembe’ means Party in Cuba but it is also a Rhythm.

We created Bembe’ to celebrate the Cuban culture through their dancing.

Cuban salsa is dynamic in that it requires all of your body in order to dance it well. We focus on building solid dancers through teaching footwork, body movement, connection to your partner and musicality.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Jeff Link was born in New Jersey, but grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio; and has been dancing for 7 years.

His first contact with Latin dancing was through a Dominican friend who taught him Bachata and Merengue. A year passed and while on a work project in 2008, he ran into Duane Wrenn of Energentic Soul in Detroit, MI and that’s when his passion for Cuban Salsa began. Duane later introduced him to Julian Mejia and since then, he has danced and lived in Atlanta, Ga (Salsatlanta); Austin, Tx (AustinCasinoSalsa) and now resides here in Cincinnati.
