Blue Gibbon Chinese @ Xavier

Wi over 35 years of customer satisfaction, Blue Gibbon is an excellent choice if you’re in the mood for Chinese food. I’ll keep this short, good home feel service and large menu selection. Anything you want you can have.

Not sure what has happened here but the food has gone way done hill. Everything now has a strange, sweet aftertaste. I won’t be going back.

Really good authentic tasting food. But I feel the selection is a little sparse and I wish they would add some more options.

My taste buds really, really, really like the Blue Gibbon’s Chicken Fried Rice. Unfortunately, my digestive system does not agree.
This Blue Gibbon location is never busy and is always well-​staffed; you rarely have to wait in line to get your over-​the-​counter fast-​food Chinese delights. Non student or faculty visitors can park for free in the fifteen minute parking right outside the Gallagher Student Center at Xavier and run in to pick up carry-​out. As stated previously, the CFR is delicious but may wreck havoc on your stomach later; eat with caution unless you have a stomach of steel.
I’ve turned to ordering white rice instead of fried at Blue Gibbon, along with two vegetable egg rolls. I’ve sampled the establishment’s Sweet and Sour Chicken before and wasn’t particularly impressed, but the egg rolls by themselves are flaky and yummy and enough of a meal for me.
The main location downtown delivers quickly, before this location opened in Xavier’s student center we would order from them at least once a week.
