History
Established in 2005.
The East End location opened in 2005 as part of a collaborative partnership with the Cincinnati Public Schools. The program provides a truly unique environment focusing on the benefits of a nurturing physical environment. The center is housed in Cincinnati Public’s Riverview East Academy, a community learning center. Our East End center offers programs for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. We are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and holds a 4-Star rating from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services Step Up to Quality.
Our center serves children and families from the East End, Mt. Adams, Columbia Tusculum, Hyde Park and a variety of other greater Cincinnati communities. CELC and its centers are part of the United Way and the agency contracts with the Hamilton County Department of Job and Family Services and the Ohio Department of Education to provide services to families who qualify for assistance based on their income.
