DR Micro specializes in the fast and inexpensive service of computers, be that in our retail store or onsite at your home or business. We also sell new laptops and desktops, which include free data transfer from your old unit and the ability to still get Windows 7 as your operating system if you would like to avoid Windows 8 or 10. DR Micro sells refurbished desktops as low as $ 139. We also can do many services remotely through our fastsupport Internet service.

History

Established in 1998.

Originally started on the west side, DR Micro has been in the exact same location on Beechmont since the beginning of 2001. The building is owned by Doug Neiheisel, the owner of DR Micro.

Business Owner

Doug Neiheisel, a lifetime resident of Cincinnati, has been working professionally in the IT industry since the DOS days (before Windows). A graduate of LaSalle High School and the University of Cincinnati, Doug was involved in starting one of the first PC service businesses in Cincinnati as well as one of the first Internet Service Providers (before RR and Zoomtown, during the AOL days). Doug is also known for doing a live radio show called «Geek Talk,» which has been heard on various local stations since 1994.
