Dr. Ehryn Cartwright and her staff are a close-​working team dedicated to meeting the vision care needs of the people of Mariemont, OH.

Our friendly receptionist is the first smiling face you will see when you visit our office. To complement our modern facilities, our knowledgeable visual testing team will work with the latest and greatest technologies to best assess the health of your eyes. Next you will meet Dr. Cartwright, our highly-​skilled optometrist. She will complete the exam by inspecting your eyes, discussing eye care options, answering your questions, and sharing a smile in the process. When you visit our office, our goal is that you will leave completely satisfied and confident with our doctor, staff and services!

History

Established in 2013.

With the support of friends and family, Dr. Cartwright opened Eyecare on the Square in June of 2013. The Village of Mariemont and surrounding communities have embraced the practice and we are lucky to make this office our home.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Dr. Cartwright was born and raised in the Cincinnati area. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences in 2004 from Ohio University. Upon graduation, Dr. Cartwright pursued her optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN.

During her time at SCO, Dr. Cartwright completed externships at Wright-​Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH and the Eye Care Center in Richmond, KY. Upon completion of her externships, Dr. Cartwright graduated with her Doctorate of Optometry degree in 2008.

Dr. Cartwright has extensive experience in medical optometry, providing a variety of services for her patients. Among those services include visual correction, glaucoma treatment, macular degeneration management, dry eye management, diabetic monitoring and emergency medical treatment.

Dr. Cartwright is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association.

Dr. Cartwright and family currently reside in Mariemont.

Dr. Cartwright makes having an eye exam a positive experience! Her exams themselves are very thorough from start to finish, which is often hard to find, and I can’t forget to mention the awesome equipment she has! Not only does she care about the health of your eyes, but she also has just about the most adorable office I have seen. Her frame selection is great too (obviously high importance on my list, must accesorize!)

Dr. Cartwright is phenomenal. I’ve had some issues with my eyes while out of town that I needed immediate assistance with. She helped me right away and gave me expert advice that cleared up the problem. She’s not only at the cutting edge of eyecare, but she will care for you like family. She makes her patients a priority and you will leave her office feeling well taken care of. Best doctor around! There’s no better place than Eyecare on the Square for all your eyecare needs.

Dr. Cartwright, the sprightly and hyperattentive optometrist who owns Eyecare on the Square, takes optometry to the next level. I adore her as a person and a doctor, and respect her concerted effort to make every patient’s experience a memorable one.
I get it, my eyes suck. Two astigmatisms, glasses thickness equal to the depth of a kiddie pool. I came for a contacts fitting and Dr Cartwright had me in and out in under thirty minutes. I waited no longer than five minutes to see her, and I was a tad early at that. Long gone are the days taking four hours off to see that doctor! She walked me through every step of the eye exam, which (if you’ve ever had an eye exam before you’ll know) is very much appreciated. You know that annoying part of the exam where the doctor shoots a bullet of air in your eyeball? I unfortunately didn’t get to reexperience that visceral feeling (sarcasm). High fives all around. And the office is immaculate. CSI won’t find a fingerprint in this office. And take off your shoes when you arrive! Kidding, but the floor is really clean.
All doctors should be like Dr. Cartwright. Famous last words?
