Good food, but the place was sticky (literally) and needs several repairs. Many of the clean plates stacked on the buffet were dirty. Otherwise, the food itself was hot and very good. I particularly liked the cream shrimp. Very good and a unique flavor.

Since first coming up to Cincinnati and finding Grand Buffet, I have been thrilled with the food and the vallue!!!
Plus, the staff and ambience was always pleasant.
However, I have been going there much of less in the last few months because they have changed the house music to crappy, American Top Forty Commercial Music.
That DOES make a difference to me.
They see me much less now. But the food is still good.
I just can’t stand listening to the music I hear so many other places.
It USED TO be a mellow, Asian theme.

Very dirty, not good food, would not suggest anyone going here ever!
It is not a clean restaurant!
You can’t tell that when you are there, even though it’s a buffet it’s horrible service as well.
The food on the buffet is old and not fresh.
The place is disgusting, dirty, and outdated!
I’m honestly surprised it’s still open.

I’ll admit that it’s not what it use to be. I’ve been going here since it opened and it’s been there for a very long time. I use to go with my gf and friends all the time. sometimes twice a week and even holidays. since I moved away I don’t get to go as much but, when I was in town last I did make a stop. it looks the same just older and a bit ran down. it’s not the same person running it as it was when it first open but it is the same family. the food was still good but definitely not on the same level as it use to be. but then again I’ve lost a lot of weight since going there so maybe I’m just more picky about what I eat. I give it 4 stars because it’s still good for the price and better than most of the Chinese buffets in that area. the apomorphine isn’t the same that’s for sure. it just needs remodeling and for the owners to put some passion behind it once again.

We saw a coupon in one of those coupon magazines that come in the mail, and decided to give Grand Buffet a try.
The food was okay. There was a good selection of dishes. Many of the items that should have been crispy weren’t. Noodle were over cooked making them a bit mushy. Veggies in many cases were overcooked and mushy too. The one beef dish had a strange texture. Many dishes were under seasoned. There was a proper amount of sauce, but it tasted watered down. The sesame chicken was cooked perfectly. It really stood out from all of the other mediocre dishes. The chocolate ice cream was really good.
There was lots of seating and no wait. Staff was attentive. Not sure if that is enough for us to go back.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! YOUR RISK FOOD POISONING…
Where to begin.
The first thing or impression; parking lot was dirty, doors were dirty, there was a bitter garlic smell in the air.
I walk in and the floor looks filthy and is slightly sticky (carpet) YUCK!!!
The waitress tried to sit me next to the soda machine/​waiters station… and the place was practically empty… WTF!!! I had to move twice and finally she got the hint and wiped all the sticky stuff from the table and the chair.
With the limited selection I decided to play it safe and not eat any of the almost gray colored sea food…
The only thing I ate which was slightly good was the chicken teriyaki on a stick. The rest was over cooked or over sauced.
I WILL NEVER, EVER, EVER EAT THERE AGAIN… OVER PRICED AND DISGUSTING.

This was everything one wants out of a chinese buffet. A large selection, hot food, a little sushi and plenty of little desserts! They had this really yummy fake crab dish that was ridiculous! Also, if you don’t get the black pepper chicken, you’re doing yourself a disservice. Everything we had was good, the kids were happy (because they liked their food but also because they didn’t have to wait for it — bonus!) and we spent less than we would have had we ordered pizza! Pefect place for the fam :-)

I have been here a few times over the last few years, and have never had a bad experience, but, I also can’t say I have ever had a particularly good one either. It’s just middle of the road mediocre Chinese food, with middle of the road mediocre service.

Well I have been going here for over the last 3 – 4 years. I hate to say this but it has gone down hill fast. It used to always have fresh food and a wide variety but this is not the case anymore. It is at best, mediocrity Chinese food that is bought from the store and they heat and serve. The only new thing they have done that is better is they have self serve ice cream that is pretty good. The service was fast too. But those things do not help for the poor quality in food. I would recommend Thai Taste or the Golden Dragon over here any day of the week.
