Lazy waitresses got thrown out asking for a towl to wipe bar no one paying attention

Neighborhood bar, good beer selection and tons of tvs. The menu offers a broad selection of choices. The melt and Saratoga chips are always my pick. Not a ton of places to go for dinner and a beer in the neighborhood but you could do a lot worse than the holy grail west.

Been at this location and the one at the banks, always a good place to get some food and drink. Beer was good and cold and being that I am trying to watch the carbs now I got the Caesar blackened chicken salad Not a bad salad but just a bit light on the dressing.
Will be going back.

Decent food overall, but prices don’t match up. Food equivalent to bw3’s but double the price. 9 bucks for a mediocre chicken sandwich seems much in a bar… Just saying. Blueberry beer delicious. But again. 5 bucks for a vodka cran is nuts. This is a BAR not an upscaled restaurant

We love coming here for the sports bar atmosphere, great service and decent food. Reuben Wontons are a must!

Great food, friendly staff. I eat here twice a week and have liked everything I’ve tried, but highly recommend Reuben wontons and the pizza. Wings and burgers are also solid.

I have been to the HG location in Clifton and found it a nice place to hang out while watching the game and chilling with friends. This location is much more suburban and full of the westside crowd that people either love or hate.
Parking is ample and was actually packed on the Wednesday night I was there. (Someone in my group jokingly stated, There’s no recession when it comes to dining out.) I was the first of our group to arrive and the waitress sat me and immediately took the other set of silverware even though I told her three more would be arriving shortly. Whatever.
By a quick count there were 12 TV’s in my viewing area. The place was loud, and I mean loud. There were tons of large family groups with kids making all kinds of noises and the parents essentially ignoring the commotion. (Granted, it looked like a football practice ended or something…) Now, obviously kids will be kids and we were all kids once, but the noise was almost too much to enjoy a meal and have a normal conversation. I don’t know at what point (time or designation (bar vs. tavern vs grille)) a restaurant becomes a bar and it gets weird to see kids around, but it did feel weird to be in the midst of all the kids. If it was warmer we would have probably eaten in the spacious covered outdoor patio.
Okay, enough ranting, lets talk food. Food was fine, nothing spectacular. The large cobb salad hit the spot as we were starving. I had a BBQ grilled chicken breast. It was alright but not worth raving about. I really think that I would feel right at home chilling with some guys and drinking a beer and eating some fatty food, but when it seems like a daycare is sharing the space, I would rather go elsewhere.
