I love their hams and bacon. I tried their sandwiches for the first time(Hoagie Italiano and Roast Beef) and they were amazing! The service was fast and prompt, and the store was super clean. I’ll definitely be back here for lunch again!

Today was my third attempt to stop in and get my ingredients to make bean and ham soup — apparently third time is a charm! All stores are closed on Sundays and wouldn’t you know it, that was the day I was out and about doing errands, going to the store and decided to stop by a HBH location to try to get my ingredients. they were closed. Then I stopped by on Monday after work and they were closed again — the stores close at 6pm during the week… which I suppose I understand, but with limited hours it makes it hard to get what you need to make soup or even purchase a ham or turkey for that matter. The regular hours of operation are 10 – 6 M-F and 11 – 3 on Saturdays. That is the reasoning for 3 stars. I am a fan of their hams and ham and bean soup ingredients, but if I can’t purchase them, I can’t enjoy them. Even one night a week that could accommodate people who work until after 5 then have to deal with traffic, would be great! Today I was greeted and served by by a very nice young lady, she was pleasant and welcoming. She was very efficient and and got me in and out very quickly and gave me coupons for my next visit. I will go back, it’s just a matter of being able to get to the store when they are open.

I had driven by this place many times over the years, and I’ve gotta tell you. I had no idea it was a restaurant. I thought they only sold their ham and turkey at these stores with some product you could slather over it on a sandwich or something. I was on the hunt for some potato soup recently and I came across this store as having some tasty soup. I’m sorry Unilocal,I ventured off your path and used another site to look for potato soup. but it didn’t mean anything I swear!!! Ok, yes it did. I found this soup! But in my defense nobody had reviewed it on here yet! So I’m making up for it. The menu is actually pretty large for what I thought the place was going to be! So many different sandwiches to choose from, and my fave, POTATOSOUP! NOM!!! I ordered a chicken salad sandwich with a cup of soup and was pleasantly surprised. The sandwich has big slices of chicken and grapes, which I love. The soup had a great texture and flavor, and it had some large chunks of ham, but no cheese. Just a heads up because I love my cheese and was a bit disappointed by that. But other than that I have no complaints and I will be back for sure. Oh they also have a nice outside area to grab a table and soak up the last of this nice weather we’re having!

My favorite spot for a sandwich. Try the HoneyBaked Ham and Swiss Melt with a cup of Loaded Baked Potato Soup.
