AUTHENTIC.UNIQUE.FRESH. Family owned business for 42 years, moved to Withamsville area in Sept. 2015. Our entire menu is made in house from scratch, including our delicious bread. Our authentic European recipes have been handed down through the Molnar Family. Specializing in Chicken Paprikas, Goulashes, Schnitzels, Stuffed Cabbage Rolls, Breaded Pork Chop, Chicken Livers, and Bar Eats-​Sliders, Wings, Bier Cheese & Pretzels, Quesadilla & much more.

History

Established in 1973.

Laszlo’s began in Mt. Washington in 1973 operated Laszlo & Elizabeth Molnar, continued success moving into the small village of Newtown, 1989 taken over by children, Monica and Laszlo, surviving a flood in 1997 & loss of the building due to a fire in 2013, we continued in Newtown Ivy Hills strip center for 2 years till July 2015 and continued our journey landing us in more permanent location @1020 Ohio Pike, in Clermont County area. We hope that we can everyone enjoys our food and hospitality, come in and check out Laszlo’s new location.

Laszlo is a amazing chef, family recipes that have been carried down for generations. He cooked with his father Laszlo Sr. for years and also self taught many of the new, up & coming menu ideas. He is well rounded in his cooking and baking skills, making all his own breads & desserts. He thoroughly enjoys cooking for others, hoping that they find the dining experience as enjoyable as he does.

I visited Laslow’s Newtown location a while back and was disappointed. This time the food was significantly better. The salmon had a citrus sauce that was excellent. The tiger shrimp were small but the cream sauce they were in was tasty though bland. The green beans were good and the au gratin broccoli was decent. The sea scallops were fairly gummy and the creamed spinach they were on apparently gathered all the salt everything else lacked. All and all I was satisfied for $ 20 seafood but seasoning could certainly use some tweaking.

This is one of our favorite restaurants! The food is delicious and the service is great! The Cincinnati Schnitzel is our favorite and we always order it in the combo platter which feeds two adults easily. The bread is delicious! We have never had anything, but delicious food at this restaurant! They also have kid friendly food as well in case your child is not an adventurous eater.

Mushroom Paprikash was ok — needs more seasoning or sour cream. Not sure if mushrooms were fresh or canned. Price a little hefty — $ 15.00 — for a vegetarian dish when compared to beef goulash and sauerbraten for the same price. We also didn’t get rolls at our table as we noticed other diners did on our way out. Maybe since we ordered appetizers they didn’t think we wanted them.

food was great, service was a little slow, but it was a busy Friday night, less than a month after they opened. The only complaint, which is a holdover from the previous ownership as well, is its really LOUD inside.

My husband and I went on a week night. Place was moderately busy. Hostess was pleasant. Waitress was efficient but smelled slightly smoky. Meals took quite a while to get to the table. The waitress said there was a lot of new kitchen help. My schnitzel was good and potato pancake a little cool and under seasoned. Will probably get the mashed potatoes next time. My husband liked his burger. Bread was a little tough. Kind of pricey. No alcohol or dessert and the meal was close to $ 50. Steep for a week night. Will come back.

This is by far the worst restaurant I’ve ever eaten in. The food I had was gross and virtually inedible. Every bite of my Hungarian schnitzel and spatzles tasted like burnt grease. I’m not expecting fine dining but when you pay $ 17 for a meal you should expect to at least get something that doesn’t make you feel sick to your stomach. Service was bad also but I’m usually willing to overlook that if the food is good. Bottom line– the food here is bad.

Oh So Noisy!!! Wow, screaming children, loud voices, I had the meatloaf it was very good, my husband had chicken livers, without breading, so dry, and tasteless. Wine of the house was good and good value, my husband had ordered a strawberry margarita (horrible) sent it back, our friends ordered a coffee it was awful, crème brûlée was good.

Great restaurant with exceptional service. Best service I have received in years. Everyone was nice and attentive to my needs. Great place to hang out with friends. Food is good but I was hoping for more authentic German food. No complaints though and I would definitely come back again!!!
