Monro Muffler Brake & Service

I went in for an oil change and a pair of windshield wipers and with the oil change they rotate your tires and check the air pressure. Well, the manager called me to look at my tires as he said they were starting to crack. Well, I knew the tire were nine years old but they still has less than 10 000 miles on them. So I asked him about new tires and he gave me a reasonable price but I asked him up front before I decided to buy them if I would be getting tires manufactured this year 2015 and he assured he they would be. So, I checked my tires a couple days later and it showed they were manufactured in January of 2014. I went back and talked to the manager and got little satisfaction from him. So, bottom line, I felt as a senior citizen that I was taken advantage of. I told him I would never do business with them again. I had been going there on a regular basis since they took over that particular store. So, I would say beware in dealing with them.

Booked an appointment online. Came the day of the appointment and the branch did not have me on the system.
Booked for the next day. I asked the attendant if they could balance custom tires. They said they could do a static balance. I went ahead for it.
The problem was not fixed so I came back.
They looked at it and told me to get the more expensive balancing.
If they couldn’t fix the problem why didn’t they suggest I get the right solution first time?
Doesn’t seem like they know what they are doing our how to take care of customers.
No tea or coffee in waiting room, no TV.
Not recommended.

I use to come here alot for oil changes until I got estimates for parts I didn’t need. Two words… second opinion.
