Very disappointed in how the games are managed… Refs should get control of games in the first 5 minutes! Then the coaches, parents and more importantly the kids would focus on playing.

This used to be a great facility, but in the last 2 years, it seems the owners are more interested in making money than making sure kids have a safe environment to learn and play sports.
For starters, the referees seem to be poorly trained. In the 6^th grade boys league this year I’ve personally witnessed 2 boys break bones because basketball games have gotten out of hand, and the referees can’t or won’t control the game.
We regularly see 5^th and 6^th grade boys and girls BLATANTLY travel, reach over the back, and grab player jerseys. All illegal. All in front of the referees, and hardly any calls.
We have even seen a Cincy Elite player head butt another player and not get fouled.
Secondly, the owner seems unable to control the coaches in the league. Last fall a coach threw a clipboard and the wall and shattered it, leaving shards of plastic all over the floor. The consequence for this was nothing. They still play at NBN, and the coach is still screaming and throwing things, and otherwise causing trouble. All for a 4^th grade team.
Despite the convenience of NBN being near our home, we have decided, as parents, to take all 3 of the teams we are involved with to another facility and different leagues.
NBN may have very nice facilities, but they lack the trained staff and ethical standards they need to really create a fun, safe learning environment for student athletes.

Our boys have played for several years at NBN and during those years the quality of the program and facility have gone down hill. To start the parking lot is a complete mess. Terrible and capable of swallowing a small car. Cars are allowed to park near the road making exiting the facility dangerous, due to not being able to see oncoming traffic. The schedules are late to be posted and if you have a question and try to call them during business hours, your call is never answered nor returned after leaving a message. New this year we had to provide a person to either run the clock or keep the official book, which in my opinion should be provided with amount money we pay for our children to play and what you pay to watch a game. We had just signed a group of boys up for a spring fling tourney and there were not enough other teams to sign up to play. But our teams check was cashed and we could not find out any information that it was cancelled until two days before it was to begin. Talk about a bunch of disappointed boys!
I think it is a great concept and could serve the community well. Just very disappointed in how they choose to run the program and their lack of customer service.

For the purpose of basketball, it served us ok. The league rules are not enforced. There were in fact three teams that «shared players» (their best ones at that), within my son’s league, and nothing was done. The food is overpriced and admission adds up fast. Like my friend said, perhaps they should use the admission to pave their parking lot — parking is horrible! Glad our NBN experience is over.

Overall a pretty nice facility for a variety of indoor sports. The staff is always friendly and helpful, which is an added bonus. I find myself coming here fairly often to watch or coach, and it’s always a blast!
Nothing beats shooting basketball outside on a perfect spring day, but during the cold winter months coming to Nothin’ But Net is a great alternative!
