Premier Laser Spa Of Cincinnati

Prior to the location closing, no one contacting me about the closing or being able to provide any details … I was already upset that my treatments weren’t working as anticipated.
For those who have mentioned they were never notified, you are not alone. I did just go to check their website and the new place has finally been announced — identity hair salon & spa.
Hopefully we can all find some results to our previous problem of Premier Laser Spa.

I went here, bought the full package, used all the touchups, then when the hair was growing back the new staff looked into it and found the previous techs NEVER went to a higher setting. They gave me a few free treatments. Its a shame they closed when they did as I think the new people were digging it out of the hole, but it was probably too deep from the previous people.
Like several people here I never got the notice.

As you can see from reviews below this location closed suddenly. Prior to closing I was already attempting to get my money back as the process did not work for me and I was told by a manager that it would not work for me– I was one of the few it just didn’t work on even though I was the ideal candidate…
Following 2 months of calling and leaving messages which were unreturned I finally spoke to someone at corporate and filled out a request for refund. I was promptly told my refund was denied and when I asked for clarification they said my contract stated it was not refundable– why have me fill out the request?
They have offered me the option to go to a location over 100 miles from my house to receive a service that I was told will not work. This company is taking peoples money and not holding up their end of the deal. I would not recommend Premier Laser Spa to anyone in any city. I threw away $ 2000 which I have been told I cannot have back. Don’t make the same mistake.

I received an email and a letter about the closing. I was disappointed but figured going to Columbus would allow me to visit friends and do a little shopping. Kept a positive spin but after calling every day for ten days sometimes 3 calls a day; being disconnected, leaving messages and speaking to a human once who transferred me to voicemail I have been unable to schedule. I paid in full and have 3 visits left… considering lawsuit.

Horrible management and customer service. They run their business through scamming people. They closed their doors unexpectedly on their customers. Which means they took patients’ money and ran. Now they can’t be reached at all.

Do not go to any premier laser spa unless you want to lose your money! They closed in Cincinnati and will not refund anything!

They have the worst costumer service that I have ever gotten in my life!!!
I have been getting treatments on my glabella and upperbrows. After 3 treatments, I noticed that I am actually losing hair on my eyebrows and it is probably because the laser is targeting the hair follicles that it shouldn’t. As I am very sensitive to my eyebrows (same as everyone else), I asked for discontinuation of treatment on those areas and hopefully getting a refund or switch areas of treatment. I was told by the person at the front desk that the manager will call me in regards to my concern. Two days after, I didn’t get a call back. I decided to call them myself. When I called, I was told that the manager is out of the office and she can’t called me back until a week after.
Eventually, I got a call back from the manager today. She told me that she could go ahead and discontinue my treatment but she will not be able to give me any refund since I was getting those areas treated for free anyways. «Free???», I said. I got a deal with them in late September for buy 1 area get 3 areas treated. I got my full legs, brazilian, and since I had already done 8 treatment on my underarms elsewhere, they said they would be able to give me 3 treatments on my underarms along with treatments on my glabella, upperbrows, and upperlips. I was very happy with the deal then but that was the agreement that I got into in the first place. That is was the entire reason why I signed a contract with them. That is what consultation is for, nothing was for FREE! It was all part of the agreement.
After she told me that she wouldn’t give me a refund, I suggested switching my glabella and upperbrows for treatments on another area. She said that she could only do more treatments on my underarms and that is if she gets rid of treatments on upperbrows+ upperlips and glabella. She told me glabella+ upperbrows are small areas and underarms is a medium area and that she had to get rid of all the treatments on my face to switch me to underarms. First of all since when underarms became a medium area!!! Plus, I have barely any hair left on my underarms and I have even less hair on my underarms than any one of those areas. I do not want treatment on my underarms at all and I just agreed to it since this was the ONLY option she gave me but I was not gonna give up three area for the minimal hair that I have left on my underarms. I told her that I am a tiny person and my underarms are half of the size of a lot of people that are paying as much as me. My treatments take less time than a lot of other clients. Even the technicians have told me that before! It would not be fair to drop three areas for my underarms plus I really want my upper lips treated. She said that she has to make profit and that she will not be able to give me that deal because she’s got employees to pay. She also told me that I am getting my toes treated for free too. Again, I was like FREE? First of all, it is sketched on the diagram they have in front of them that this were all part of the deal since day 1 plus everywhere else when you pay for full legs, you get feet and toes included in as well. I told her that I do not want to stop my treatments on my glabella and upperbrows by choice and it is because of a concern in regards to losing my eyebrows that I am stopping the treatment. Long story short, after a long conversation of her denying to show any flexibility and show any signs of costumer care which they brag about so much, I agreed to drop my glabella+upperbrows+ feet and toes (feet and toes, not even just toes) for underarms that I do not even want. All those areas just for my undearms!!!
I think I was the flexible one in this scenario rather than her who’s running a business. I should be the one complaining about losing my eyebrows because of their inadequate technique, level of training, or equipments and it seemed that I was the one responding to her complaint. After I agreed to her terms, she just hung up on me before even saying goodbye or ANYTHING. I cannot believe they run a business with this costumer service! The manager is very RUDE and I was hoping I could get to talk to the company manager or someone ahead of her to address the issue. However, I was not able to find a phone number that could connect me to their main office and not their Cincinnati branch. I will NOT be going back there once I am done with the rest of my treatments!

I’ve been going there for over a year. Results are great but getting in is nearly impossible. I was sick and had to cancel an appointment and I wanted to reschedule and they told me it would be 2 months before I can get in. They told me I could call daily to check for cancelations but when I do, they are rude. I wish I would have gone to a place with more availability. Its frustrating!!!

When I first went in, the guy there promised me things he could not deliver and gave me 6 treatments to an area that I didn’t have much hair. When I told him that, he shrugged and told me that I probably won’t use all 6 treatments then and should only schedule «a couple.»
To their credit, they check in with their clients after 4 treatments to see how things are going. Apparently, that guy is no longer with them. When I told the current manager, Melissa, she agreed that it was bad but she wouldn’t do anything about it. Instead, when I asked for her to fix the problem, she asked me to double my already high 4-​digit investment and told me that someone who asks repeatedly about a new service typically will end up purchasing. Really?
Next time I called back, I was making a very simple logical point:
— You have a satisfaction guaranteed promise.
— There are no additional costs to you to treat me as I have requested.
— You know that my current plan is obviously unsatisfying given you’ve offered to treat me in an area I don’t have much hair on.
So how can you possibly say you care to satisfy your consumer if a) your consumer has been lied to and you agree, unfairly treated and b) you refuse to change anything about the deal that she landed with?
In addition, I had referred a friend due to the good results I got initially. She got a SIGNIFICANTLY better deal than me — think like 25−50% off. This time, I was not happy and expressed that. On this third call, Melissa proceeded to imply that I was uneducated when I talked about her not having additional costs for what I was asking for, despite my having an MBA. Seriously?
I don’t know how or why, but they charge different prices for different people based on if you come in with a previous consultation from a competitor, a potential deal that’s running for the month, a referral, or a groupon. It could also just be what you ask for.
In the end, she gave me the 6 treatments for an area where I did have hair but did it really need to take so many calls and so much emotional sabotage? With my friend, they told her the deal expired within the hour so she had to take it immediately. With me, they accused me of taking advantage of them despite my simply trying to understand why all deals aren’t created equal.
Bottom line: This company lacks integrity in their pricing strategy. Their product and machines are good but their manager Melissa is one of the most disrespectful and rude client-​serving personnel I’ve ever met in Cincinnati in a long time.

Excellent service from the consultation to the treatments. Staff is friendly and professional. All my appointments are on time. The procedure is not painful and is extremely quick. The best part is the results. Within 4 treatments my hair growth was minimal. I highly recommend not just laser treatment for permanent hair removal but to have it done at premier Laser Spa.

Always always always running at least 20 min behind!!! Today it has been 40 min And they don’t seem to care, every time I complain and they say «yeah sorry just sit tight. And before you get treated they try and up-​sell you and try you to get to spend more. Not worth the money or your time!
