It’s never fun to have your car towed, but Rick Shaefer’s made it as pleasant as such an occasion can be. My car wouldn’t start so I needed to have it towed to the shop. I called them and they weren’t able to send someone for an hour, but I was at my house so it was not an issue. They arrived right when they said they would. The driver was very courteous, and took care of the whole thing. Their rate was very reasonable and what I expected at $ 85 for an off hours tow about 8 miles away. for I hope I don’t have to use them again, but I will if I need to again.

DO NOT USE THIS TOW SERVICE. One of Schaefer’s tow drivers backed into my car at a stoplight, got out and apologized, and we traded insurance info. I found out that this man gave me false information, such as a fake name and insurance info.. . He is now claiming it is my fault — after he already took responsibility at the scene. These people are crooks.
This company employs liars – and do not care about their service or their word.

Couldn’t be more pleasant and professional. It’s never a good experience when your car gets towed away, but they made it as painless as they could. Also, being a young woman with a less than reliable car, I’ve often had tow drivers dispatched to me that were a little more forward than I would like and made me completely uncomfortable — not Rick Shaefers. It was such a pleasant change for what I consider average rates.

Last week I was stuck late at night in the underground Chiquita Building parking garage with a car that had a broken serpentine belt. I needed a tow and AAA dispatched a truck from Rick Schaefer’s Towing.
Here are some things that went right. The driver arrived when AAA said he would. The driver was able to get my car (power steering was broken) out of the parking garage on onto the street for easy loading. I had a great conversation with the driver as we rode up to a service shop, with topics ranging from the job to hobbies. He successfully unloaded my car at the service shop and went on his way after making sure I had a ride home.
Here are some things that went wrong. :crickets:
As you can see, this was a great tow. If I’m broken down anywhere in Cincinnati again, I’m going to request Rick Schaefer’s Towing.
