This review is based mostly off of their happy hour. Half off all drafts and the bartenders are friendly. I’ve had the goetta nachos and they were quite delicious. I won’t hold it against them that they are a Browns bar on game days! Go bears!

I had heard a good review of this place from a friend, and always wondered where it was and then I saw it one day while visiting the nearby Sleepy Bee. I pulled up the menu and gave a heads up to the better half that I wanted to try it out and he was game. We arrived around 5:30 on a weeknight and were seated quickly. And this place definitely has more of a pub/tavern vibe than dive/sports bar. Lots of families, so definitely a place you can bring the kids. Thankfully it was still happy hour, so two of the items we ordered were half price. And we ordered way too much food, but took some home for leftovers. I ordered the potato knots(hand rolled hashbrowns filled with cheese, bacon & chives) and the meatloaf sandwich(open-faced on sourdough covered in mashed potatoes & mushroom demi-glaze and served with broccoli). The hubby ordered the buffalo chicken nachos and six wings with garlic parmesan sauce and ranch dressing on the side. While we waited for our food to come out, we were given these wonderful warm drop biscuits with honey butter, delicious. The potato knots were just as I imagined: deep fried balls of potato-y, cheesy bliss. The sauce that accompanied them started sweet but ended with a nice element of heat… maybe some sort of chipotle creamy dressing? The meatloaf sandwich just added to the carb-fest, rich & salty, the ultimate comfort food. It was nice to have the broccoli to cut the richness. There was no way I could finish it all. The hubby managed to polish off most of what I left. I also snagged one of his wings and a couple of his nachos. The wings were huge! He was definitely glad he didn’t get more than the 6. The garlic parmesan sauce was wonderful. I’ve had wings with this sauce before at other restaurants and they were mostly butter. This version definitely had more of a creamy texture, it stuck to the wings quite well. And the ranch, yum! I think it’s probably made in house… thicker than something from a bottle, better tasting too. The nachos were also good, hot fresh chips with buffalo sauced chicken and the standard nacho toppings. A couple of the potato knots and half of the wings came home for the hubby’s lunch the next day. Only hiccup was that it took a little longer than typical wait time for the food. Thankfully, we had the biscuits to snack on. We’ll definitely be adding this place to the rotation!

My fiancé and I ate there last night. Food was very good, especially the spring rolls and the service was excellent. Very friendly and attentive servers. Will be back!

Hey gang. Just started going to this local Blue Ash Resturant. Giving them major props for having metal mugs for Moscow Mules!!! As for apps the Chick curry & rice balls are great! Also love the pita bread & humus it also includes a feta whip! Mmmmmm! Mmmmmm! Good! Since I’m watching my girlish figure I got the no carb burger. Nice burger patty that sits on top of a wedge salad. The blue cheese crumbles & wine vinaigrette were both great on it Definitely check this place out. Go after 8 crowd seems to die down. Only complaint would be service is a bit slow @ times

After a bad experience and our posting on Unilocal,we were contacted by Clint who apologized for our bad service and asked who our server was so he could correct the issue. As I explained, it wasn’t the server who was the issue but instead they seemed short-staffed based vs the volume of people that night. He did send us a $ 25 gift card which was very nice of him and definitely not expected! We went back last night and had a much better experience! Ruben was delicious. Grilled salmon Caesar salad was nice portion & flavorful. Love the warm biscuits and honey butter which was given at the start of our meal. Service was good; hostess was friendly and welcoming.

The food was excellent. The pulled pork was delicious and exactly what I wanted. The beer was cold and the atmosphere was great. The service, however, was very slow. The waiter was not around too much. And the wait times were extremely long. Other than that, great place!

Excellent food. Quite a find. Pork chops and ribs are exceptional. Friendly prompt service. Will return even though we live in N. Ky. There appears to be more quality menu items to try.

Slats seemed well worth the pit stop. We went for the goetta burger and we’re not disappointed. The pretzel bun is a little overwhelming but the quality of the sandwich is a+.Good service, friendly wait staff. Highly recommend.

Was a stop on ride home from KY after getting sick of waiting in traffic. Sat on the patio which was really nice. Had very good service and enjoyed my Alaskan Halibut meal along with the biscuit. The menu overall could use some updating as it was somewhat basic and left me pondering what to get should I stop again.

The fish and chips were good again but the best part was the salad upgrade for $ 2.00.My wife got the Blackened Tilapua which she loved.

I was in blue ash this evening and was looking for a different place to have dinner. I decided on slatts pub and place was good. I had the chicken parm which cost fifteen dollars. I’m going to keep slatts pub in mind the next time I’m in the blue ash area.

A lot of the reviews are very similar. Everyone points out that it’s not a chain restaurant which is nice but the menu seems even less adventurous than a chain restaurant. I only saw one item that interested me, which was the goetta burger(Reuburger might count as well though) on a servatii’s pretzel bun. It wasn’t very flavorful. I just recommend looking at the menu before going to see if you’d like any of the dishes Service was good.

I went to Slatts Pub for lunch last week with some friends. I thought it would be chain restaurant food. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the soup and half sandwich combination. I had the tomato basil soup and their chicken salad on croissant. It was absolutely delicious. My friends had the Hamburger and the Steak Melt Sandwich. They were really, really pleased with them. We had a dessert whose name escapes me right now. But, it was chocolate and chocolate with a chocolate side. LOL. It was fantastic! The only reason that I gave it four stars was due to the fact that it was lunch and the parking was dicey, which is a mixed blessing. It means the restaurant is popular but you might have to drive around the lot for a while. And, it took a while to get the waitress to come over for our dessert order. Other than that, she was very efficient and friendly. The noise level ranged from average to a bit loud when a large group was seated near us. But we were able to converse without too much trouble.

Could have sworn I walked into a TGI Fridays while I was here. Food tasted like it too. Won’t really be back. Sorry, too generic. :/

This food is so over priced and tasteless I would not eat there again if you paid me to go there. I have been there 3 times because friends keep wanting to go and I have never had a good meal. The food all tastes basic like something i would make at home only i could make it better. It is on my No Go list for sure

Anymore, I love being able to patronize a local establishment while adhering to my new lifestyle. It isn’t often that these local restaurants serve diet-friendly dishes, but I’ve found that there are a number of American restaurants in the area(I’ll write more about this later) that serve just that. Slatts Pub is an American restaurant located near the intersection of Cooper and Kenwood Roads in Blue Ash. The menu is pretty extensive, and boasts items such as salads, sandwiches, tacos, burgers, and various protein-centric(chicken, fish, and beef) entrees. My go-to fare is salmon and veggies, so any restaurant that has that option is A-okay with me. The food is good and the restaurant is large and can easily host a bigger party for birthdays or work get-togethers. The outdoor seating area is great, too, for the warmer months of the year(are they here yet?!). I especially recommend Slatts if you have a group of people to which an expansive menu needs to cater.

If you are looking to avoid chain restaurants then I recommend Slatts. They have a very diverse menu ranging from appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, fish tacos, ribs, grilled chicken, pasta, and steaks. There is a bar feel(flat screen TVs) on one side of the restaurant and a family feel to the other half. They have a decent selection of beer on tap and good options for wine drinkers. Servers are always polite and prompt.

Not a bad place to try out at least once, but I have to say, I’m not impressed to the point that I’ll make the trek here again(it’s just not convenient enough to where I live or work). We were in the area, and decided to check out a place that we’d never been to before. It’s your average, run-of-the-mill pub. They have the typical burgers, sandwiches, and salads that you’d expect to find. I tried to pick something unique to eat so I tried the Southwest Chicken Spring Rolls from the appetizer menu — they were really good — I’d recommend them. They came with a unique, somewhat spicy-tart mustard sauce that was also good with fries. If Our service wasn’t the greatest, I’ve definitely had better service from other places. Our server didn’t always check back with us — some times we were just sitting and waiting and she’d walk right past with even looking at us…

Just your average restaurant in an average neighborhood with average food. Nothing to rave about here folks, but there was nothing bad about it. A lot of space — fairly dark interior — big bar. I sat on the patio because it was a nice day — decent size. Definitely a neighborhood spot — families and such. I got blackened tilapia tacos which were … average. My friend got some crusted chicken she said was good — didn’t look to appealing to me. The biscuits they bring out before your meal are tasty and they have a decent selection of beverages. Not a place you have to try, more of an «i’m in the area» type of place.
