The associates at Stafford Jewelers are very friendly and helpful. Their selection is great and I was able to find exactly what I wanted and the quality is excellent. I had a custom engagement ring made and they explained everything along the way making it so easy for me to choose what was right for me. The whole process was fast and smooth. I have since been back to purchase other items and have had the same amazing experience each time!

I was impressed with this store about 6 months ago when they gave me excellent service when they were tightening my center diamond on my engagement ring. However, I was completely DISPLEASED when I called twice and a young lady on the phone told me incorrect information. She told me that I can have one of my setting diamond tightened in just 15 minutes and get an appraisal as well. She also told me that I did not need an appointment. I arrived there and the manager told me that they were not able to do so which is fine. However, the blonde lady I was on the phone with did not admit she was wrong and completely lied to my face in front of her colleague when she said she did not say the wrong information over the phone. I was going to purchase my fiancé’s wedding band today but will be doing so at a different jeweler.

When I lived in Cincinnati I used Stafford all the time from designing a one of a kind engagement ring to buying many many watches. I was always met with professionalism, and super prices. For these reasons and many more I highly recommend Stafford to your Jewelry store of choice. The engagement ring I designed took time to design, and create both of which they staff there did. It truly turned out magnificent.

Despite a very ostentatious façade the merchandise is inexpensive in relativity to the quality, of course. I was greeted by an older gentlemen the first time I walked in. I looked at a few things got some info and left.
I came back later that day for more info on a gorgeous ruby and diamond ring. And ended up purchasing it.
The only reason it’s not 5 stars is the 10 day wait time for the ring to get sized up

The first time we went to Stafford Jewelers, when we were paying customers, their customer service was impeccable. The staff were so courteous and patient with us while we tried out no less than a dozen different timepieces for over an hour. So, we decided on a Cartier watch, which we paid about $ 20,000 for. However, when that purchase turned out to be a lemon (it kept losing time, and there was condensation under the glass), and when we went back to the store to try to have it fixed– while it was still under warranty, we were treated like second-​class citizens. The first thing that Robert, whom I later learned was the store manager, told us was that we were rude, because we went up to him and asked if we could speak to a manager about the problem. Just to be clear, we asked to talk to the manager nicely. In no way were we being loud or obnoxious. Plus, he was the person standing closest to us when we entered the store, so of course we were going to ask him. It’s not like we interrupted him in the middle of a sentence, and demanded loudly to talk to the manager. And then he pointed to a spot in the store, and said in the most demeaning tone, for us to wait right there, while he finishes up with his more important (hint: paying) customers. I felt like an elementary school kid being reprimanded by a teacher for doing something wrong. He even threatened us with asking security to make us leave. Seriously, we were not throwing a temper tantrum warranting such treatment; all we did up to that point was asked to talk to the manager. In retrospect, I feel like we should have thrown a tantrum and wreck havoc for them, because I had never been treated like that in any store. Even retail and chain stores like Sears and Meijer provide better customer service. I definitely regret buying the $ 20,000 piece of garbage from them. I am beyond frustrated with the way we were treated. It’s been months since the incident, but I still feel the need to inform prospective clients of Stafford Jewelers: do NOT buy from this place. If your item malfunctions, or if there is any problem whatsoever, there will be absolutely no after-​sales customer service.

Definitely one of the best jewelers in Cincinnati. We love them! My husband designed my engagement ring with their jeweler, and it is absolutely beautiful. He’s picky and had some heirloom diamonds that he wanted included in the setting, and they spent quite a bit of time working together — emails, phone calls, and in person meetings.
Their staff are super friendly and very helpful. They don’t nickel and dime their customers, and we are always treated well. We feel that we’ve gotten great quality for the price we expected to pay.

walked in, no appointment. greeted professionally by a staff member (sarah) and was immediately introduced to the store manager, robert.
since i know exactly what i’m looking for in a diamond, robert was able to show me his in-​store stock, with two close matches. he didn’t even have to consult a computer to know what his store had in stock.
robert wasn’t pressuring, remained professional, and didn’t waste my time.
stafford only deals with GIA certified diamonds.
i haven’t made a purchase, but stafford is in the running.

Great place! We got my engagement ring there. They cary well known brands and unique pieces that are made by their own jewelers. My ring was made by their jeweler and it’s absolutely stunning. I’m getting many compliments every time i wear it. It’s a family business and everybody who works there is very professional. We are going to buy our wedding bands there too.
