I’m wary of getting my hair cut in Cincinnati, after a bad experience right after I moved here last year. And I’ve been having recent eye trouble that makes hair cuts even more challenging because of my eye wear.
The hair stylist I had was very nice to me, which I especially appreciated because of how nervous I was. She was definitely very careful about my eyes, which I also appreciated. I just got a simple trim, but I’m happy with her work. The other stylists seemed equally friendly and there was a good vibe in the place. I would definitely go back.

If you like overpaying for you hair care needs by 43.75% compared to most other salons for the same service by all means visit this salon.
I wanted to give the owner, Holly, the chance to make this right with me and she had the independant hair stylist call me directly. Melissa was very rude on the phone and let me know that she is very busy and that she is worth 43.% more than the other colorists in the Cincinnati market.
I wish I would have known that before; what I thought would be a 50 $ visit turned into an 85 $ visit not to mention the 10 $ tip that I gave Melissa. I’m shocked that for a root touch up I was raked over the coals without remedy. I will be contacting the BBB as well.

If you like a small, boutique salon, you’ll love The Wild Hare Salon. It’s in a cute little house located in Loveland/​Montgomery area (Why do I always to go salons so far from where I live!?). There are several reasons why I love it:
Everyone at the salon is great! They are very friendly, knowledgeable and experienced.
They use a lot of organic and other natural products. They are one of the few (only?) salons in Cincinnati that carry the Intelligent Nutrients line of USDA Organic skin care and they also have Butter London nail products which are «3 free» meaning they don’t have all of the worst chemicals.
They also have «Fake Bake» spray tan for an exceptional price! Whatever is in it works naturally with your skin so the color looks natural… not orange. Plus, it’s sprayed by hand so you never have that whole Ross-​on-​Friends experience!
Tracy does all the skin and nails and she is fabulous! UPDATE: I just had a facial from Tracy and it was the best facial ever.
