History
Established in 2012.
I learned green building from Dad. He was a boy in the Depression, served in the Navy during World War II + the Korean War, after his service he became a chemist for GM and taught me many things, including wiring, plumbing, carpentry and masonry. He did it all. He was always saving + doing the best with what he had, building things thing the right way so they would last + always thinking of how something could be useful in the future. He was green out of necessity. When my folks added onto their home in the 60’s, Dad saved the leftover bricks. In the 80’s Dad and I reroofed our house. The chimney needed restoration too. Dad and I pulled out those saved bricks and we rebuilt the chimney. The old chimney became a rip-wrap border to help control stream erosion our back yard. This is where my love of building and being green comes from.
Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner
I love making things. For 18 years, I have been part of successfully completing over $ 300 million in built work: from new homes to large commercial projects including Multi-Family Affordable and Senior housing, Campus housing, Retail, Hotels, Schools and Fire Stations. I became a LEED AP in 2007 and was one of the first in the country to receive the LEED AP Homes professional credential.
My goal for each project is to take design and construction practices to the next level through improving energy efficiency, building with durable materials and providing universal access for all.
Knowing how something gets built makes me a better Architect.
