I’ve been stopping here for bread for years and yesterday decided to try the fresh spaghetti — I’ll never buy boxed spaghetti again. Can’t wait to try the soups and some of their other offerings. Tried the marinara sauce once and it was too acidic for me.

Georgetti’s is an at least weekly meal in our house. Food is fresh, prices are great, saves time. They have THEBEST cheese ravioli I have ever had! My other personal favorites are whole wheat pasta, young tomato and rose sauces. Staff is friendly, always has a lollipop for my daughter!

Georgetti’s is a true neighborhood gem. Their prepared foods are always delicious. The lentil soup is so rich in flavor! Their homemade pies are out of this world — perfect crust and wonderful fillings. And nobody makes a better pesto than Georgetti’s. Try them once and you’ll quickly be coming back for more!

Ive been going to Georgettis for over 20 years. They have a wide selection of take out food, and my personal favorite, fresh pasta. It is so easy to grab a sauce, some pasta, and loaf of bread… add a protein at home and a simple meal becomes great. It is so much better than buying a box of dehydrated pasta, and it is easy to tell the difference. They are always pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend. In addition they have pre-proportioned meals for people in the go.

Pros: –Food is delicious. No doubt about it. Everything in there. –Staff very friendly –They catered my bridal shower and did a great job. Cons: –Extremely pricey. I guess you have to decide if it’s worth it for the convenience of not having to cook. –Check out setup is kinda confusing as I think someone else mentioned.

Georgetti’s has really great food. Like REALLYGREAT. Five stars alone for the food. My work frequently orders catered lunches from here. From their Mesculin Special Salad to their Penne and from their Chicken to their cookies, I have not had one thing I did not like. Michael Georgetti is a class act. Great guy who runs a business in an honest way. He serves his community and the surrounding ones for things from swim meets to banquets.

Georgetti’s is always amazing. Fresh pasta. Fresh sauce. Fresh bread. Their Ricotta Crepes are amazing… and I HATE Ricotta. It is a great place to stock up on pre-made meals… and if you’re a single guy who can’t cook, it is a great way to impress a date(just don’t let her see the left over packages). Even better, they cater! I would highly recommend them for any occasion!

I stumbled on Georgetti’s earlier this week and was immediately a fan! Coming from a very Italian area in NNJ, let alone Italian family and have not come across a place with comparable fresh pastas, sauces and soups in the greater Philly area outside of South Philly. I picked up some fresh pasta and a couple of different sauces, and grabbed some gazpacho just because it’s a fave and great for a dinner on any of the recent steamy, stormy nights we’ve had the past few weeks. Their offerings all looked excellent and after some samples I picked up a quart of soup, and a couple of different fresh sauces and pastas. Coincidentally we had some unexpected dinner guests the same day I found this place. Their gazpacho was outstanding. Their puttanesca and arrabiata sauces were excellent, as were their spinach raviolis and mushroom raviolis. We grilled some veggies we let marinate in the arrabiata sauce and threw them in with the pasta… My partner and our guests were all impressed with the bright, fresh flavors. I’m very glad I found this place! Georgetti’s Market will absolutely become a regular on my list of «must have on hand.»

Georgetti’s catering is very good. Everything involved in the process, from the service to the food, is done with care. Of course, the most important part, THEFOOD, is excellent. I couldn’t have done it better myself, and I’m pretty good :) I have found it hard to find a caterer in South Jersey that keeps its food healthy and uses quality ingredients. Georgetti’s does. I highly recommend them.

Every time I eat fresh pasta, I wonder why I have ever wasted my time with boxed noodles. Sometimes I get the motivation to make my own, but usually if I want a treat, I’ll grab some Georgetti’s. Growing up, the rose sauce was our go-to, and so that’s what I usually get as an adult too. But I did recently venture out and purchase the bolognese, and I was not disappointed, so I’m looking forward to a little more experimentation. I have always loved their garlic spread(broiled into a fresh baguette is preferred, but honestly it’ll liven up any bread product, from pita to white bread). The only thing I’m not thrilled with at Georgetti’s is the layout. I know it’s a small business that may not want to(or need to) update the inside. However, when it’s crowded, it gets very confusing to keep track of who is in front of you, who is waiting to order pasta versus who is waiting in line to pay, it’s hard to get to the freezers, and there is an entire half of the store I think I miss every time. I think that simply moving the cash register further away from where people order their pasta could alleviate some of the congestion and solve the problem. Anyway, I’ve been having a lot of trouble planning weeknight dinners for my family lately. I’m thinking a weekly Georgetti’s run(or an occasional stock-up for the freezer– all of their stuff seems to freeze well) could be just the thing I’ve been missing.

If Georgetti’s ever closed, I’d be totally screwed, because I buy all of my meals for special occasions celebrated at home from this place! Please don’t ever, ever close, Georgetti’s! My last review sums it up but to get into a bit more detail, my favorites are: Soup — lobster bisque, escarole, chicken chili Pasta — I’m a fan of either the plain white pasta or the wheat, cut into fettuccine thickness. In my opinion, it’s better than any other fresh pasta you can buy in this area. Sauce — marinara, meat sauce, pesto, alfredo Salad dressing — traditional vinaigrette Prepared foods — lasagna, any of the stuffed breads, chicken parmesan cutlets These are my standard go-tos but you could get anything in that store and not go wrong. I’ve happily trekked over the bridge and back just to grab dinner. The people who work there are always the nicest, and there’s always something different to sample while you’re there. One of my favorite local businesses, and I’ll go back again and again.

Great Italian food to take out. fresh pastas cut to order. Great pasta salads, and the Italian Garlic Mashed potatoes are terrific. Stuffed breads with sausage, buffalo chicken or pepperoni are a nice addition. Both the chicken and the beef meatballs are wonderful, large and moist. Sauces are good too. We love the bolognese. Fresh rolls and bread round out the experience. The grilled chicken breast is delicious also. They have fruit pies too, but I haven’t tried them in a while. This is a great place to stop and pick up something to take home for dinner.

This is the best carry out Italian food store in this area. Period. Their fresh soups are amazing. Everything is home made. I concur with the other reviewers who give this place the kudos they deserve.

Georgetti’s is good. The homeade pasta is very good. I like the farfale with the blue cheese they have in the case with asparagus and roasted peppers. The other salad is really good too with the ham. This place has some nice stuff. The bread is good also.

This is a review by a vegetarian Cookies are good, pastas are good, sauce are good(the ones in the fridge; why would someone buy the sauce from the freezer?), pies are decent, soups are good. This is sort of the origin of the kind of places that proclaim to make dinner for you to make at home. Here, you buy a pasta, you buy a sauce(if you have a picky family you buy two or three), go home, boil water and heat a sauce pan, open containers, cook, serve. As good as most restaurants for 1⁄3 the price. Catering has also come thru in the past.
