So bad! We ordered online, it said it would be 20 minutes. We go to pick it up and it took them almost an hour to cook our food. We were sitting in there forever and not a single apology. When he finally brought our food out he asked us if we wanted any sauce, I said«there’s sauce witH the sushi right?» And he said yeah and brought it out and then really quickly made my sushi roll right there after I asked that. It seemed like he forgot about my sushi. We get home to eat, all three dishes sauces were watery and there was hair in my food. Not going back.

Im giving one star only because i cant give zero! We ordered food for delivery. They said it would be 45 minutes. Well, an hour and a half later we called to see why it had still not arrived. We were told that they were very, very busy and he had no time to talk to us BUT we can come get it because its ready! When we went to get it the food was cold and there were only 2 people waiting in the restaurant. It was not very, very busy!!! Then he said«you order, you take» and did not want to refund our card. He was rude and unprofessional and i will never, ever do business here again!

Food was tasty and priced well. The seating is comfortable and intimate as it is not too big. The young waiter was charming and attentive. This is the only restaurant within a 10 mile radius that actually accomadated our wish of a firey, flaming plate. The only thing that I would suggest is that they light up their front top sign. I blinked and drove by it.

Fantastic food, great prices. Courteous service. This is where I go to veg out. I’m vegan and it’s tough to find a vegan/vegetarian place to eat. The prices are good to and the portions are large. Yesterday I started with Mung Bean soup then had vegetable fried rice, two spring rolls, and two cucumber rolls wrapped in seaweed. They brought me a pitcher of hot Chinese style tea and a glass of water. They came around a lot to refill my water and take away any empty plate. I love this place and think everyone should give this local business a try. I think the lack of customers is due to the fact of the location. It’s a little Gem tucked away in a big plaza.

My mom and I came for a late lunch after 3pm. The server was not exactly friendly, but that could be because she didn’t speak English well. The food, however, was FANTASTIC! we both ordered the dinner portion of Egg Fu Young with fried rice(hint: 1 order serves 2 people). It was so delicious. So overall it was a nice experience. The place is VERY quiet and out of the way, but in my opinion worth the hunt.

This review is for the sushi only, I’ve never had the Chinese food. This place is tucked away, and never really crowded. It’s a shame because the sushi is great and so is the chef. I love to watch him roll sushi. I’m pretty surprised by the low rating for this place, as the quality of the sushi alone, makes me think the rest would be good. But, as a sushi lover, I think this place blows away Sumo sushi, right across 130, and Sumo has a much higher rating. I definitely recommend trying them, next time you want to grab some sushi.

I’ve always like the sushi here. It’s in a weird location, kinda tucked away. Never crowded. Friendly workers. Kinda awkward dining in when NOONE else is there, so I stick with takeout.

I decided to get a late lunch takeout here as it’s closer to my workplace than the usual Chinese takeout place I go to. The first thing about this place is it’s hard to find. It’s hidden in a corner of the Colonial Square Shopping Center. Even using GPS and a sign they put in the parking lot, I drove past it once. This place won’t be getting any walk in customers which might explain why all the lights were out and no one was there when I walked in. It also makes me wonder why it took 15 minutes to make. The woman working there was nice though. The food itself is nothing special. It’s not bad, but it’s not great either. That’s a shame because my normal takeout place is both cheaper and better tasting than this place. They do have brown rice though if you are trying to eat healthy. I didn’t try the Japanese food or sushi. Considering I didn’t see a sushi chef, that was probably a wise decision.

This is a narrow review on the vegetarian luncheon specials. Chinese vegetables are something I look forward to for their crisp fresh just right effect. But at this resteraunt the vegetable were like they were from a bag of frozen Asian vegetable from the dollar store. Just as healthy probably. After I dressed it up it was good the next day with Mac and cheese.

Mandarin Cove is convenient to people who live close by making mediocre at best Chinese food. Their sushi is a waste of life. It’s a joke. Try somewhere else for that. The delivery I got 2 weeks ago was late, soggy and disgusting. I don’t like when people deliver chinese food in a styrofoam container. It makes everything sweat and turn soggy. This place is lame.

The food is just«OK». There is nothing that stands out to me. The fish seems fresh which is a VERY good thing, although I have no idea how that is since I rarely see other customers there. This place was better at one point(3years ago or so) but seems to have changed ownership since I started going there and I find that there has been a downward trend in the portion size and some of the recipes have been altered. The folks who work there, however, are very friendly and accommodating. This is a sushi/chinese food restaurant which is a bonus if you happen to be with someone who wouldn’t touch raw fish with a 10 foot pole.
