History
Established in 1983.
First Call is Sacramento County’s oldest free standing Hospice. First Call is a midsized, community minded company built to serve the greater Sacramento metro area with the very best Nursing, Social Work, Hospice Aide and Chaplaincy services. Our medical director is a board certified Palliative Care physician who specializes in alleviating end of life symptoms. First Call is dedicated to the philosophy of Hospice Medicine’s found, Dame Cecily Saunders: «We will do all we can not only to help you die peacefully, but also to live until you die.»
