Best coffee and love the variety they have! If you love the sweet coffe its a must try if you ever pass by. The ladies are friendly but don’t haggle a conversation with you.

The peanut butter espresso drinks are a delicious treat! I also love that they carry coconut milk, almond milk, and soy. I recommend a soy iced latte with crème de menthe and throw in a extra shot or two while you’re at it, they are only .60!

I thought i would give this place a try since I pass by it daily. I wasn’t impressed with their coffee or customer service. I got a caramel macchiato and the caramel was gritty like it was either cheap or had been heated up. The girl at the window seemed rushed and like I was bothering her by pulling up to her window. I think I’ll just keep passing by this place.

We visited 12⁄17 am. upon our arrival we saw a girl(only one working, blonde with nose piercing– only leaving description in hopes someone who works there reads this and goes over protocol for working with food products) emptying a trash can full of liquid onto the curb. It looked pretty nasty. She then went inside and proceeded to make our drinks without washing her hands. Just gross. Period. Needless to say, I still enjoyed my drink and topped it up to working on my immune system … My husband however, wouldn’t touch his. Moral: wash your hands!

Came her the evening of 12÷10÷15 and ordered both myself and my daughter a small hot chai. When leaving I went to take a drink and burnt my toungue. Wasn’t warned of the fact that it was over steamed and still today 12÷16÷15 my tongue is burnt. I hope the lady there does not repeat this mistake as that could have been my child.

This is hands down the best drive through coffee in sac! This a must visit place when in the Heights! This little drive through gem has two windows to serve their fabulous coffee blends. JAVA also serves up tea and smoothies to order. I have never had a disappointing beverage from this joint. The employees are super friendly and beautiful! These girls serve up some fantastic Joe with a smile! Thank You JAVA for giving me wings

I stop at this place every morning before work and I absolutely love it! I actually prefer it over Starbucks! They make my order perfect everytime! One down side to this place is that it can get a little busy at certain times and you may find yourself waiting in line for a bit but I always find it worth it for a perfectly made Frappuccino! I highly recommend this place for some great coffee!

I work relatively close to Java Detour and it goes without saying that there are definitely days where I would not have been able to function without them. Most of the faces behind the window haven’t changed in the past three or so years and I can always count on a pleasant experience to start my day. The beverages are good, the food is good, and the prices are competitive. It would be nice to see a customer loyalty program officially, but you know they try and show their appreciation by under charging for a drink, or doubling up the bacon on your breakfast sandwich just because. I always recommend Java Detour to my friends and family when they need a pick me up or something delicious to break up the monotony of the day.

It was my 1st time there, even though I lived around here forever. I ordered the Butterfinger white mocha and hubby ordered the Funky Monkey. We had them both in a large size, set us back about $ 12 bucks, but way worth it. We will definitely be back!

The gals who work early on weekdays and on Saturdays are my favorite! They are outgoing and know your order if you frequent there. They make suggestions when they get new syrups in or have an idea for a drink you may like. The owner is great and just makes your day when talking with her! My husband is really into their breakfast sandwiches too. 4 out of 5 for rating only because the lines can get a little crazy from time to time but the girls really get them in and out of there.

Java Detour. It was not all that long ago, it seems anyway, that little coffee drive thru shacks were the ONLY place to get super high octane specialty coffee drinks. Then of course came Starbucks and their world domination, so to speak. Java Detour was a nice throw back to the«good ol’ days» for me. I came in the morning during the rush hour so of course as expected there was a long line of vehicles anxious to get back on the road. The wait time all together was not more than 15 minutes. That was very acceptable to me considering there must have been 7 vehicles ahead of me in my «lane». The all female staff was upbeat and chipper as could be. Smiles for everyone and patience for all the silly questions we manage to ask during these exchanges. «What do YOU recommend?» «What do I want now?» Even though we have stared at among other things the MENU for the last 10 minutes in anticipation. I digress… I ordered the Funky Monkey Mocha. Frozen of course. The sizes available are very satisfying. The flavors less«powder-ish» than some«other» places. Peanutbutter, bananana, chocolate, delicousness. I was very happy. This thing looked like a freaking Big Gulp. I wish I would have taken a picture of it. The only thing that kind of sucks about this place is not even their fault but I will say it anyway. THEPARKINGLOT sucks. It is like some one was very high or the extreme missed their medication, when they designed the lay out. Again not their fault but a bit of a pain when there are 1000 cars at the same time as you trying to navigate to cofee bliss.

Love love love the coffee. I stop here 2 – 3 times a week on my way to work and have been doing this for a couple of years. Only Unilocaling to say how rude and unattentive«kelsey» was on my visit a couple of weeks ago. This is the name printed on my reciept. so since the employees dont wear name tags I cant be 100% that it is her name.(she could have rang me up under another employee) who knows. I sat at the window for a good minute or two before she turned around and acknowledged me. I ordered a small blended reeses mocha w/no caramel and no whip. First she tried to charge me more then the happy hour price and i had to correct her. Then She asked me 3 times what I had ordered. when I recieved my drink it was in a large cup covered in caramel and chocolate sauce and also had whip on it. I told her it was the wrong size and I had asked for no caramel or whipped cream. Her response«well its happy hour so its a good deal. A large drink for only $ 4.» Ummm okay. But it still wasnt what i ordered. Anyway… I work at a restaurant and I didnt want to be that person so I took the drink and left. Unhappy. Love the coffee so I WILL be returning.

Best drinks ever! Best selection and variety of drinks around. I always come through to see what amazing concoctions they have come up with. If you are not a coffee snob and just enjoy a great drink, this is the best choice!

Quick coffee with nice service. I enjoy running by this place much better than going to a Starbucks. They have a happy hour with some good deals. Normally, all I get is a double espresso with almond milk(Starbucks only has soy), but my friends have ordered frappes and been very satisfied.

Are you in the mood for a cupful of day-old, stale coffee? How about some $ 2 per pound Colombian generica filtered through a dirty gym sock? If that’s what you crave, then this filthy little sh*tstand is your go-to destination for all things terrible. Get ready to pay Starbucks prices for convenient store coffee because this place is all about the money.

I’m a huge fan of the FS location so when I saw that they have one in Roseville, I had to drop in on my way to Tahoe. As expected, 100% customer focused service with quality drinks. I heart me some Java Detour — enjoy!
