Specialties

We offer beginning music lessons for all ages. We teach piano, guitar, voice, drums and violin all in a small-​group setting. Classes are divided by age and ability. We hold regular recitals, highlighting the achievements of our students. This is definitely the fun way to learn music!

Our classes are 45 minutes long each week, year-​around and we charge only $ 70.00/month. Multiple-​student and prepayment discounts are available.

History

Established in 2010.

Duane Anderson has been a music teacher in the public schools for over 30 years. As the arts were cut from the public school system in recent years, he felt a need to offer an alternative way for kids to learn music and enjoy the benefits it brings.

Duane started his new school in Rio Linda, CA in 2010. It has grown to become Music Partners Academy and has now opened a second studio in Citrus Heights.

Mr. Anderson is a credentialed music teacher who has been teaching music for over thirty years. He has taught students from Kindergarten to college. At Music Partners Academy, he offers music lessons on piano, guitar, voice, drums, and string instruments like violin, viola, and cello.

Mr. Anderson also owns The Key Shop in Rio Linda, a local shop that provides locksmith and many business services. Additionally, he serves in his community as a member of the Rio Linda Elverta Community Water District’s Board of Directors. Previously, he served as board member and chairman of the Rio Linda Elverta Recreation and Park District.

Marriage and family are even more important to Mr. Anderson than his businesses. He has been married to his wife, Lura, for thirty-​four years; together they have six children and twelve grandchildren.
