Shiloh was our wonderful waiter, can’t say enough nice things about this young man. Food was, good size portions, very good before 6pm prices and very yummy. Manager came by the table was very friendly and enjoyed talking with him. Learned a lot about the steakhouse.

Poor service while sitting at the bar. The first drink I ordered was made wrong, then I sent it back the bartender realized that she had mixed up her speed rail and used the wrong ingredients. The replacement drink wasn’t much better, when I pointed that out, the bartender took a sample and made a face but didn’t offer to redo again. I was asked if I was going to eat, when I said yes I was presented with a menu and dinner wear. No amount of waving to the bartender could get their attention to take my food order. Left with a drink not consumed and hungry … that was $ 8 I’ll never get back! This place is not recommended.

2 stars for food and service. I ordered the ½ bbq chicken and rib plate with mashed potatoes and chili beans(I specified I wanted dark chicken and not the breast!) I get the chili first with cheese and it wasn’t even warm enough to melt the cheese… Then I get my plate. Chicken breast with ribs and mashed potatoes. Mashed potatoes were the same temp as the beans… Chicken breast was good but it’s not what I ordered. Ribs were charred so much I can almost say they were burnt… When I let the server know he just said sorry and went about his business. The bread was great tho! Lol

We’ve eaten here twice, and had delicious food both times. The steak and shrimp are my favorites thus far, with the sirloin being tender and tasty, cooked perfectly at medium rare. The grilled shrimp skewers were also flavorful and cooked perfect. The place is very noisy, especially when the wait staff breaks into dancing and singing in he aisles, but if you know this, you don’t go expecting otherwise. We were greeted by the manager each time, after we received our food, and had time to decide how to comment to him. All in all, much better food here than Outback, with similar prices.

My husband and I are regular visitors — two or three times a month! We only ever do lunches. Sirloin steak, medium rare, always amazing(and actually pink! so many places do rare wrong) I love their caesar salad. And I hate them everywhere. The ribs are the most amazing things I have ever experienced. The loaded sweet potato is better than any dessert. The bread and cinnamon butter is something I wish I could just order and take home for the week. The pulled pork dinner is not only priced well but delicious also! Not a fan of the fish or chicken, but it is a STEAKhouse, so I come here for a reason. Also, seeing the manager on the floor talking and helping and CLEANING makes me happy.

We couldn’t decide on what to eat in Citrus Heights so Texas Roadhouse seemed like the best choice. Glad we came cause that was one of the best prime ribs i’ve devoured in a while. Super juicy thick cut, not very fatty, and cooked to perfection. Also the the staff here is very friendly. They even dance to country music. Can’t wait to go back!

The food is amazing, the waiters and waitresses are all so friendly and the price is not bad. I love that the waiters and waitresses dance!

My husband and I are so disappointed after visiting the Citrus Heights Texas Roadhouse. It does not compare at all to the quality of the Vacaville Texas Roadhouse. I ordered a 24 ounce porterhouse steak rare; it was cooked medium and I had to send it back. The replacement steak was cooked perfectly. My husband ordered a rack of the baby back ribs. They were burnt and had little chips of bone coming off of them. We brought our complaints to the manager’s attention — no apologies just excuses. And no discount on our dinners. Guess we have to look further for a good steakhouse in our area.

I was in Citrus Heights visiting friends so we decided to have dinner at Texas Roadhouse. What great food. We ordered T Bone Steak, Roasted BBQ Chicken, loaded baked potatoes and of course the fall of the bone ribs. We had so much food there was enough that all 4 of us took home leftovers. Everything tasted good! Our server Mike was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and how the food is prepared — which kept us ordering and ordering. I would recommend«this» location to anyone who loves ribs. Maria L.

So we decided to give this place another try and I must say I was very pleased! I am glad we have it another try! We went in on a Friday night at the place was packed! So it had to be a good sign! We waited in the bar for our table and had some drinks and appetizers that were fabulous! Then we went to our table, our server was very sweet and on top of things. I had a filet with mushrooms, that were on the steak this time my husband had the shrimp that were really, really good! We were both impressed on the flavor and freshness of the shrimp! So I am changing my review and stars! We will definitely be returning!

This is quite a popular place in town! It’s always fairly crowded and pretty NOISY. The benefits of eating here is that they have excellent service, there is always a smiling waiter or waitress coming by to check on your party. The food, however, is just decent in my opinion(although I don’t eat steak, which is a main selling point here). Yes, they have large portions(which they should for the prices they charge), but it’s nothing above average. Any of the food here is stuff I could easily make at home myself. For a night out, it’s not too bad– but I wouldn’t consider it a first choice(although if you asked my husband, he would disagree. He loves this place!).

Hi-ya! We ate at Texas Roadhouse tonight and it was a really good experience. We arrived about 6:15PM and had a very short wait in line for a party of 5. We were seated quickly and provided fresh bread with a honey/cinnamon spread! So good, but we stayed disciplined to not fill up on bread and peanuts. I remember being at another location and peanut shells were littered all over the place(a unique trait about Roadhouse), but this one was very clean – which was actually nice. Our server Lilly was very polite and handled our orders and let us know where the restrooms were should we need them. The atmosphere was fun and they didn’t blast music, just the natural audio of tons of people eating and talking along with sports being broadcast on the multiple televisions. We ordered the prime rib and another steak dish along with potato skin appetizers. All of it was really good, not overly salty – well a lot of bacon so that goes with the territory. But overall great service and food – 5 stars!

We eat here at least once a week, often more. The food is always excellent, we usually stick to the early dine specials, it’s always more than enough food, and the prices are very fair. Definitely a favorite place for dinner.

Came here this after noon with my wife and kids and had a great late lunch. Let me start off by saying that the staff there is very friendly and our server Crystal was on point. She was super friendly and took care of us. I highly recommend sitting in her section. The food was also on point and came correct and hot.

I am actually really disappointed in this Texas Roadhouse. I was hoping for a lot more because this city really needed something different and fun. However, both the food and service fell really short. To start off, our server was completely scatter brained and missed most of our order and beverage refills. He was never around to ask questions and once we flagged him down, he forgot to bring us what we requested. It took over an hour to get our food and once we got it, it was really subpar. If you are sodium sensitive at all — steer clear. I cannot explain in words just how salty all our food was. The French fries were leaving thick and visible coats of salt and grease on our fingers and we couldn’t eat them — even after attempting to shake them off or rub them with a napkin. Now you’re asking yourself«why didn’t you bring this to the attention of your server or a manger?» The answer is simple, there was no one ever there to check on us! The group I was with got chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken and once again, it was completely salty and covered in so much gravy you couldn’t enjoy the actual meal. I requested plain corn on the cob and they do not serve it without butter! What? It was really expensive for the terrible food and service we received and I am truly disappointed and will not be returning. But hey! They have free peanuts. +1 star for that. :/

Third visit and the Roadhouse is STILL working out the kinks. Improved: They have turned down the volume of the music to a more appropriate level so you can now hear yourself think. Unchanged: still can’t get the cook on a steak right. That’s kinda important when you’re a steakhouse. Ordered medium-rare…got sashimi. Sent it back and when it returned it was still rare and in need of more time on the grill. I gave-in and ate it for fear of it coming back burnt if I sent it back again. Not changing my rating based on this visit. Keeping it at two cowbells. Bottom line: «Needs more cowbell».

The managers are super super nice and willing to help to make things right and same with the waitress bucket that we had tonight but the service was so horribly bad we got there at 5:45 called an hour before to be seated by six we did not leave till close to nine because it took so long for the food come out over an hour and a half and the kids food didn’t come out right they messed up my T-bone steak completely wrong the first time it was not even cooked and then there were several other problems with our order this was my first time there and it’s most likely my last but the management is great and the server was excellent it was also a madhouse in there every table was taken and it was super super loud you couldn’t even hear yourself talking to anyone else that was if they were in your party sitting at your table

Great service. Wonderful food. Friendly staff. The atmosphere is that of «fun» This is my second time here in 3 days. I had the sirloin and shrimp combo. Very tasty and juicy. My friends got the ribeye, rack of pork ribs and sirloin salad. Everything was excellent! I recommend bringing your family, a date or some random stranger for a great neal, and amazing service. Oh, the waiters and waitresses line dance in the walkway when certian songs come on. I just love it. Forgot to mention the greatest fresh baked rolls with the best butter, cinnamon and honey concoction to dip it in.

Were here right now. We called ahead to get our seats. Really nice because it was busy and we got seated right away. This is there second night open but you can’t notice everything has been great. We love texas roadhouse already so this is even better that it moved right next door. Our waiter was great. His name was Daniel and it was his first night and first time being a waiter. If you come the first month just remember it takes a month to get everything down. We will be back. Food was good. Free rolls with cinnamon butter mmm… good. also the sweet potato loaded with marshmallows and the cinnamon butter is so good.
