Howard Li, CPA

Howard Li CPA was as my family and company CPA for pass 5 years, and this guy is great, nice and professional I ever met, that’s the reason I stay with him for pass 5 years. And he help our family and my business save a lot of tax.

A very nice man but could be better as a CPA. Howard has been my CPA for 3 years. 2 of the 3 years there has been a problem and therefore I will no longer fo back to Howard. Personally he is a very nice man. Professionally there have been issues.
1. He did not represent me during my audit. I went to a CPA so that I the event of an audit I would ha e a professional to assist me with the process. I asked him to attend the audit meeting with the IRS and his response was for me to attend it alone. I took his professional opionion which turned out poorly. After being unsure during the questioning and not knowing what to answer or not to answer, I realized that it was a lack of professional obligation as my CPA to encourage me to face an audit alone.
2. He has not paid a late fee from the IRS due to his negligence. We filed our taxes electronically through Howard. Due to an error, which was my fault the filing was rejected and a notification was sent to Howard. This notification was sent several months prior to the IRS deadline. Howard did not make us aware of this issue. Due to his lack of follow up and negligence, I receieved a letter from the iRS regarding our missing taxes and a late fee. In addition, ww were forced to pay penalties during our pur, my of a home because filed taxes were needed and they had not been refiled by Howard. He has bot paid for any of the cost incurred due to his offices mishap and lack of response.
This is specific to my experience with Howard.
