This review is long overdue! Joey was recommended to me by a friend who praised Joey for his professionalism and flawless service. My friend couldn’t be any more right! Joey was extremely nice and easy to work with. He came to my house for measurements and give me a quote for the Hunter Douglas shades for my whole house the very same day I spoke to him. He was polite and on time, and also helped me pick out the best color shades for my house. I needed the shades to be installed within a certain time, and he even rushed the order for me without any extra charge. I definitely would recommend Joey to anyone who wants the best quality of product, service, and price! Thanks Joey! My house looks so pretty now!

The designer Joey was the best, had good ideas, knew his products, and one of the things he first did when he came to our house was remove his shoes! When the installers came they put blue booties over their shoes, it shows what care they take on a clean job!

I highly recommend Kao’s Design Concept. They remodeled our house three years ago. Tina did a great job on all our projects, flooring, kitchen. We recently put wall paper and added drapers and blinds in all our bedrooms. Tina is very patient to help me to match the design and color back and forth till I am satisfied. And they also did my pet grooming spa remodeling floor and window shutters. They did an excellent job. Their team is professional. If anyone wants to remodel the house, Kao’s Design definitely is the best choice.

Tina helped us and the entire experience was incredible. She was able to accommodate a consult for window shades (hunter Douglas shutters and shear shades) within a day and provide the quote within another day. We shopped another 5 star rated company and Home Depot for comparison, all for the same exact product. The other 5 star company set up the consult and then told us after the fact that they didn’t have HUnter Douglas as we wanted but tried to sell us another brand offering a 6 – 8 week install time. Home Depot was able to quote us the exact Hunter Douglas products but for $ 4k more and with a 6 – 8 week wait time. Kao’s delivered the exact product we wanted in 2.5 weeks!!!
Install took only 1.5 hours for 5 large windows. The guys moved my furniture to get to the window, vacuumed after install and put my furniture back. They were in and out in no time leaving a perfect job done. Very impressed with this little company! Shop around and you’ll end up picking kao’s based on price but you’ll end up being very happy you did based on everything else.

I needed some window shades for my office as the hot summer was approaching. I knew the summer sun would be unbearable in the office so obviously I used my trusty Unilocal app and found Kao Designs! I mean… our trusty Unilocal reviewers wouldn’t lie!!!
I called Kao Designs and spoke to Patty and David. Patty was nice enough to take down my information and they were both at my office the day they said they would arrive. I love it when people do what they say they are going to do!
They both were careful in measuring the window space (they did it twice) and sent me a rendering of the Hunter Douglas window shade they intended to order for me via email. This is great because I knew exactly what I was going to get without any surprises!
David was also very helpful in getting me an estimated arrival time and installation details.
The shades arrived at my office at the time David promised, the installers were in and out of the office under an hour and the workmanship was superb! I am thoroughly impressed and will certainly contact them again when I need something done!

We just got our HD shutters installed from Kao’s Pacific and it was an easy and seamless process! They were very flexible and installed the windows the day right after we finished remodeling. Ask for Patti, she’s awesome!

I heard about Kao’s Pacific from a couple of friends who have used them for remodeling their homes in the past. I just moved in to a single family home in Pasadena and needed some flooring and paint done. Joey showed me a wide selection of their flooring and I decided to replace more than I expected because of their competitive pricing and great service. I noticed they also sell window covering too, so I’ll be back soon.

See Joey! He will take care of you. He did my entire house and my brother’s! Hunter Douglas shutters and power roller shades as well as their in house full top down drapery. We found Kao’s Pacific while we were driving on the freeway. You are able to see them a little before Fairway exit on the 60 freeway.
We wanted to replace our old carpets in the house we just moved into. When I walked into the store to look at the different types of carpets, Joey was very helpful and patient in recommending which type of carpet will best fit my needs. He was professional and very communicative. He was always available via text. The carpet installation went smoothly and only took a few days to complete. His team that installed the carpets was also very friendly, efficient, and professional.
After the successful carpet installation, we noticed Kao’s also installed blinds. A few months later, I called Joey back letting him know that I was interested in replacing our old blinds. Again, he was helpful and quick in getting the whole process started. The blind installation took half a day to complete and we are very happy with our new blinds! Joey has been great to work with. He’s honest, flexible and able to compromise on your needs.

I initially went to a Hunter Douglas certified retailer in Orange County because my designer friend said she knew a company and would get me a good price, well in retrospect I am so happy that this company did not deliver outside of the «Orange County» area, since I live in Chino Hills and I was able to find Kao’s Pacific Inc, close to home. So on my own I went to the Hunter Douglas website and found Kao’s Pacific Inc as a certified retailer for Hunter Douglas. I went that very same day, went over what I wanted, I asked if they could just follow me home and take measurements so I could order right away, and they said «no problem» and one of their reps, Joey, was so kind and followed me to my house, took the measurements, brought the sample so we could color match them, and we ordered the material right then and there. We were in the middle of construction at the time and the place was a mess, the blinds were ready in about two weeks and we scheduled for the install the Monday it was ready, the installer came but noticed the area was still under heavy construction with flooring being put in and paint being done and recommended that we should not install so the material didn’t get ruined and just told us to call anytime to re-​install, he came a second time and the same situation happened, and finally the third time we decided to wait after the construction was over and he came the very next day to install it. Kao’s Pacific was so accommodating with our time frame and were not frustrated that we on two occasions had to send the installer home. So happy with them that just recently I had Joey come out, and again all I had to do was call, and he said I’ll come right over for the measurements, and we ordered them and this following Monday they are installing it in a different portion of our house. Payment was simple, he took my information right over the phone, they give an unbeatable price, I have first hand experience of what the OC retailer quoted me at and believe me when I say Kao’s Pacific Inc is the perfect price for amazing service. I am very happy with their services and professionalism and definitely recommend them, I know I will be using them again and again. Got my Hunter Douglas Shutters from Kao Pacific this week. They sent out a team to measure my window openings first, then provided me a quote accordingly. Kao Pacific knew that I just moved in to my new house with no window treatments and gave me temporary window shades before my installation. (Great service!)
Once the shutters were ready, they gave me an appointment right way. Their installers were top notch. Arrived at my place on time, very considerate, and worked very fast. They took the time to make sure each shutter operated perfectly.
We are very happy with the shutters and I definitely will use them again.
