NOPRICEINTEGRITY. I was about to purchase the Chocolate Roll which was advertised for $ 10.99 on the pillar. As I was about to purchase, I was charged $ 11.99. I questioned the difference. Her reply, «I forgot to change it this morning.» She would not honor the advertised price. This ruined my wife’s appetite. Of course, we did not purchase the cake. As we left, she almost tripped over herself trying to get the sign down. God forbid the business lose $ 1.00 on a cake as opposed to practicing American business ethics. Just got a coffee crunch cake here. It was really good and great customer service. The lady that helped us was really nice. It’s about $ 16 a cake which is a good price compared to the other Asian bakeries which is like $ 25 plus now for a regular cake. Hope someone’s else bday is coming soon cause I want to get the ube cake to celebrate :)

I don’t know. My impression of bakeries are fresh baked goods on a rack. This is more grocery store, prepackaged pastries. Almost like an outlet store. I asked what the special was and the lady recommended the butter mamon. She said there was butter in the middle. I assumed it would be like one of those warm mocha rolls with a pat of butter in the center. No. It’s only a butter sponge cake. It tastes a lot like the twinkie without the filling in the middle. The only reason why a twinkie is good because of the filling, am I right? I don’t know if I dislike Filipino bakeries or just this bakery in particular but I am not a fan of the prepackaged butter mamon.

My dad is a foodie and has been talking about trying Red Ribbon bakery for a while. Father’s Day was right around the corner, so I figured, what better opportunity for us to try their mango cake! The cake was good, but definitely nothing to write home about. It was moist and not overly sweet like many Asian bakeries. The frosting also had mango in it as well. I think we were all a little disappointed, but I guess that was our fault for going in with such high expectations.

omgaw i love you red ribbon!!! before hitting the AMC, i sneak red ribbon mamon spongecakes in my purse so i can eat them while i watch my flick lol. the chiffon cakes, coffee crunch cake, and the mango cake are freaking amazing. My family ALWAYS enjoys bringing the coffee crunch and mango cake to birthdays because they always get devoured!!! the only item i really stay away from is the ensamada… it’s pretty bland and it’s just too bready, cheesy and thick for my liking… honestly, you can’t go wrong with trying any of their cakes. it’s hard to resist eating two or sometimes three slices because they’re just oh so very light and airy mmmmmmmm.

I’m so happy they decided to open up shop here! Since Goldilock’s closed down a while back close to me, this is the next best thing! Whenever I’m in the area, I make sure to stop by and pick up the MAMONBUNDLE pack. My favorite flavor is mocha. It’s not too sweet and it’s soft and moist! Ever had the vietnamese/chinese sponge cakes? Well, this definitely tops that! I’ve already converted my family to switch over. ;) CUSTOMERSERVICE — The workers here are average. They’re not super friendly but they’re not horrible. They are nice though. One time, I came in and noticed they ran out of the bundle packs. I was sad, but the worker offered to create one for me. Although it’s not hard to bag a few cakes, the point is that he was kind enough to offer that option rather than telling me to come back the next day. ** SPECIAL — Buy 1 Mamon Bundle Pack and get 1 Mamon free. (Not sure when this deal ends though…)

I love this place! If you go try the chicken empanadas! The filling has chicken, potatoes, and raisins! You will not regret it! I always go to this mall just to buy their empanadas. lol. Also I love their mango cupcakes! Def. must try this place! I also love that they are not expensive and are very clean.

Located at the puente hills mall, this Filipino bakery has never failed nor disappointed me with their goods and services. I ordered my daughter’s birthday cake from them again. Chocolate flavor with fudge filling and white frosting on the outside. Once again, moist, flavorful, and not too sweet. They are always very courteous to their customers, shows the real pride of Filipino culture:)

christmas time= a huge pile of goodies in my work snack corner! i was lucky to get a treat from a patient who visited Red Ribbon from the Puente Hills Mall. A banana walnut cakeloaf and some yummy mamon. the banana cake was moist and full of flavor– perfect with a cup of tea or coffee. the mamon(chiffon cake) was super soft and really light and not overloaded with too much cheese. they also have mocha flavor. i look forward to checking out the store myself and getting me a mango cake! no raspberry babingka to be found here though… LOL!
