I understand why there are such negative comments. I’m a teacher and wanted to get something laminated. I needed to work on my project before I laminated. In the middle Alexis or Alexa asked if we wanted to get started. She didn’t say if you don’t get started now, we won’t be able to finish tonight. So 15 min. later she informs me that if I wanted to laminate, it won’t be done til tomorrow. REALLY? Why didn’t she tell me that 15 min. ago. I would’ve started. I heard her tell a customer on the phone that they close at 9. It was 8. I asked, is there a way to just run it through and she flat out said NO! Wow, what customer service! I will be calling corporate but who knows if they care.

I had the BEST experience here yesterday. I was totally stressed trying to get my daughter’s birthday invitations printed last second and I was helped by Angelina in the copy center.
First, I called and she answered the phone I explained my situation and she said she would figure out a way to help me.
I drove right over and she was able to put my order ahead of a couple of other orders. She said she had called the other customers and asked if they would be picking up their order that night and after they said that they wouldn’t be able to make it she decided to help me out.
Her calm and collected customer service was exceptional and because of her I’ll keep coming back to this store.

As an intern for my job, I had a strict detailed task to get some forms laminated. I only had one copy so I was playing Russian roulette with the thickness. I had to get it as close if not exact to the sample I was shown. Kinkos was no help therefore I came here as my last resort. Mike, addressed me and went beyond his way to help me get exactly what I needed. He took the time to make copies of my form and practice on that until I was pleased. If he didn’t think outside the box I would of been screwed. This deserved a 5 star review!

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews for this place. I probably come here on average once a week or every two to buy school supplies and I have only had good experiences here.
A lot of people seem to rant on the customer service. This place is a bit understaffed during the week; I’ll give it that much. I have probably only seen 3 – 4 employees max at any given time. Because of that, the lines can get pretty long randomly sometimes like my last visit. Honestly, it’s a Staples, an office supply store and there are signs that tell you were things are. It’s like you need an employee following you and checking up on you every two minutes to see how you’re doing. I always go into Staples knowing what I want and I know where it is. If I couldn’t find it, THEN I find an employee to help me out.
The staff I have interacted with have been great and patient. I probably go there so much one or two of them recognizes me and they know that I always ask for a price match (with Amazon) and/​or use coupons. I am in the education field and it sucks that I have to buy a lot of classroom supplies out of pocket so I try to save money wherever I can. I once left Staples with about $ 30 worth of goods and paid only $ 1.50. The employees there don’t seem to be annoyed with me doing this kind of stuff or treat me with contempt. A cashier even commented that I’m pretty good at this in admiration and not contempt.
There’s been a few times I have a coupon I got from their app but it wouldn’t seem to apply on their computers. The cashier and manager overrode it for me with no questions asked.
I’m not sure about other people, but I’ve only had good experiences at this Staples. Not to mention that this Staples is the closest one around my area.

I will never come back to this staples ever again.

They make you feel like you’re stupid and question you.
After going through the hassle of coming to this location which was a waste of time, we ended up going to Staples in Monrovia, which had way more helpful employees and a helpful manager whom gave us no trouble with the exchange!!!

Monrovia Staples gave me the exchange no problems! Dont go to this one, seems like they hate their jobs and it shows.

Tiffanie in the copy print center is the Bomb! She is like Superwoman who can handle anything and doesnt crack under the pressure. She was super helpful when I was prepared to go it on my own on the copy machine. Tiffanie went over and above the call of duty and made my experience effortless. She was also fast efficient and very effective! I couldnt believe how fast she was able to get the job done. I will call ahead and make sure she is my go to person. I still am in Awe how cool headed and all smiles she was when the line was building up! The other new girl was freaked out. Even when I was waiting Tiffanie called out to me nd made sure that every few seconds she made contact to let me know that I wasnt forgotten about. You just dont get the royal treatment like that anymore. Made me want to apply to work there and I hate customer service too! Give that girl a raise! You seriously cant afford to lose her.

Worst customer service ever!!! Dose any of the workers know any answers to your questions of course not there just standing around getting paid for nothing right… You have to do there jobs and answer your own question at this store… and if I didn’t have to mark a star I would even mark one

NO customer service here! They don’t seem to like you to come into the store to buy stuff… I don’t get it. Will go back to the Glendora store where they treat customers right!

Not surprisingly, this is one of the worst reviewed Staples stores around.
Went here two days ago, my mom had an IN-​STORE COUPON for hand tools. So she went to the kiosk (computer to create her order, and print it out to be rung up at the counter (to use her in-​store coupon)… which is entirely the point of these kiosks. She actually called
beforehand to ensure this would not be an issue. They said it shouldn’t be, but that if it was she could just call them back and they would apply the discount retroactively.
We’ve done this plenty of times at other staples stores. For some reason, Vincent wasn’t having it. He treated us like we were trying to steal. He kept saying the coupon was for «in store products only»… which is nowhere on the coupon we had. He even said he went in the back to call, but he wasn’t even gone 2 minutes, so I definitely don’t believe him. And my mom called beforehand, so I know he was lying.
It really didn’t help that it was my mom’s birthday, and she was just trying to get the damn tools in time to fix her broken car. It was such a bad experience, I don’t think I’ll ever go to this Staples again… DESPITE that is right by my work, I guess we will stick with the one in Glendora… which by the way… had ZERO issues using the coupon in-​store (to buy the tools online) just yesterday. The lady there was very confused that Vincent chose to handle the situation the way that he did.

The staff is good-​meaning, but SLOW and NOT knowledgeable. It’s easier to go through the eye of a needle, than to get some good customer service here. It looks like they have a hybrid store — location store, and –buy-​online store, so you’re stuck in the middle. Too bad, because Staples used to be good in the past. Be ready to get vague answer.

Terrible customer service. When I asked about the availability of a product (since it wasn’t on the shelf), the worker told me to wait by the product and someone would be over to help me. After more than 5 minutes of waiting and no signs of anyone coming to help me, I just left. The staff needs to prioritize service over restocking. This isn’t my first bad experience at this Staples. The staff is generally not too helpful, and they waste a lot of the customers’ time. There is no excuse, as it is never very busy when I visit.
Wouldn’t suggest shipping things here either. Last time I bought something on-​line, it took them about 30 minutes to get all the paperwork together. Definitely try another Staples.

This location needs a new manager. I asked a associate for help to get a item off the top rack, so the associate request another associate through the speaker for assistance, I wait in the aisle for ten minutes and no one comes, so I walk up front and see the associate that I asked for help from and she recognizes me and says sorry we’re all up here right now. Wow! I walk past her to leave the store and there’s no attempt to stop me and say wait lets go see what you need.
Come on Staples get it together!

This place has the filthiest, men’s bathrooms for the on the face of the earth. It is obvious that this place has not been cleaned in over 2 to 3 years. There’s dirt running down the walls, there’s graffiti over everything, and the floors are despicable. even the bathroom door upon entry is black.
If I took over this place, The first thing I would do is fire the manager without giving him a second chance. Then I would fire each employee and have them reapply for the position to see if they wanted to work under my conditions. If you can’t keep the bathroom clean, then what else are you screwing up?
It seems obvious that no one wants to do their job right here.

Good customer service at this store. They had products I needed at good prices. Asst manager Mike used his discretion to assist me as a customer. Good management on his part.

I went to this Staples to get invitations printed for my book release party. The manager was incredibly rude and was going to charge me 100 dollars for 30 invitations. To make matters worse, when I told the manager I wanted the cover of my book on the invitation, she told me she cannot scan a book because it is copyrighted. I told her it was my book and I own the copyright. Then she was incredibly obnoxious after I explained that to her. I was so outraged that I went down te street to office depot and got my invitations printed for only 25 dollars. Never going here again!

I wish I can give 0 stars. Never a good experience at this store. I ordered an Amazon fire stick November 28 ship to this store. I got confirmation Friday December 5^th that it arrived. I went to go pick it up Wednesday December 10, they can’t find the order. Then the sales associate chastises me for «waiting too long» to pick it… I didn’t realize 5 days was too long. I hate this store

Good place only when you need supplies from here.
Cheaper to make copies here than kinkos.

They don’t even deserve 1 star. The only reason why I gave them 1 star is because I have to put something on it in order to write this review. I don’t usually complain about any services or businesses, but I have write about this Staples to warn everyone!!! Go there at your own RISK!!!
WORSE Staples I ever been to. I went there to scan a document to my USB drive. I thought it would only take 10 minutes to scan everything; well, instead of adding files into my USB drive, the assistant manager, Mike, deleted all my files on my USB drive. He never apologize and never expressed remorse. He just told me the files on the USB drive are gone, and he can try to get it back. I was so dumbfounded. I stood there for over an hour trying to take it all in and he just stare back at me. The only reason why I come to this store is because its close to where I live, but after this experience, I rather drive miles away from home than come here.
All my work, school, and important documents are gone. They will lose all your important files and you may never retrieve it back.

Dont come here during closing time. Line gets super long (a dozen people in front of me).
Shop here during weekdays in non peak hours instead.

I have NEVER previously had a bad experience with staples until recently. EVERY other employee I have ever spoken to has been polite and helpful. However, the Assistant Manager Steve Morey was probably the most unhelpful, rude, illogical excuse of an assistant manager ever. He is condescending and reasons in circles. He never provides polite solutions, but instead, berates customers for having ever bothered him with a question.
He forgets that he is in a service position, and THAT IS HIS JOB! We ask him questions politely, and yet he still answers curtly and never provides useful advice.
If you can, avoid him at all costs. He is the sole reason I will never shop at this Staples again.
Maybe after this review, and a call to some HR about his behavior, he might actually start being polite to customers.
