Dropped my cell phone off this afternoon. Bob called and told me proximity sensor got broke when screen broke but they went ahead and fixed it for no charge. He said they like to treat customers like family. I pick it up in the morning and will update. He sounded very concerned about making sure product is fixed perfectly.
UPDATE. After they worked on my phone, the reception is very poor. My fiancé’s phone is same make, purchased same time and works so much better. When I have –118 reception, she has –81. Huge difference. Most of the time, I can no longer get reception.
After finding out my phone no longer works most of the time out of the Portland metro area, I changed this to one star. 5 stars for being friendly and nice. 1 star for ruining my phone. It worked better with a cracked screen.

This is the place to go if you’re looking for a unblocked phone, a new iPhone case or any techy question you might have. The customer service is top notch! Both times I’ve been in Paul helped us and made sure we got a good price for our purchase and made sure to answer all our questions. You don’t feel pressured to buy something if you’re asking questions about the product. Definitely will come back if I’m need of something techy :).

Comprite is awesome my hard drive went out and they quickly got a new one into my machine and even did the best they could with recovering my old hard drive but they’re excellent customer service will keep me coming back

I was happy to use this place over selling my phone online. I wanted to have it checked out since there was some minor water damage and cracks, which web-​based stores like swappa don’t accept. The gentleman who assisted me checked out my phone and paid me upfront for it. Excellent customer service.

I am over-​the-​moon excited about finding this place! My phone went black today and I took it into Sprint. Without looking at it, they tried to sell me a new phone for $ 700. I had an MSI gaming laptop GT70−0ND with Windows 8.1 that was having issues with the dedicated video card NVIDIA GTX 675m (crashing and blue screening). The laptop was two years old and the warranty at MSI had expired so didn’t have much choice but to find a different place to get it fixed. A friend recommended I take it to Comprite in Clackamas, brought it in around February 2015. Very friendly staff, they looked into the issue I paid about $ 89 for the labor. Went to go pick up it a couple of days later and they had me pay another $ 89 dollars. They said they opened it up and cleaned out the inside that it had a lot of dust and build up, I don’t know much about the inside of a laptop but was glad that they cleaned it out.
Well about a week or two weeks later the problem came back again. Took it back to them in March 2015, thankfully I had a two month warranty to where if I had the issue come up they will fix it for free. They tried to figure out if it was maybe a driver problem, said they installed a different driver from a month before I started having the issues in February. Sadly when playing a game it would freeze about 20 – 30 minutes into playing and would crash with an error message. It was getting to be really depressing and stressful for me when it happened as I paid almost $ 1,500 on this laptop.
They gave me several options but the only responsible option I chose was to downgrade from Windows 8.1 to Windows 7. It was definitely a headache and so I thought I would be more happier with Windows 7 as Windows 8 was just one huge nightmare especially for a gamer. I think I paid $ 120 for the cleaning of the laptop, wiping of the hardrive and installing Windows 7 on it. It was a trial version so I had to go and buy a key some where. When I picked it up a couple of days later I asked them if I could buy a key, Paul had an extra Windows 7 key from an older laptop. He gave it to me free of charge. Went back home to try out some games, noticed they played a lot smoother and quicker with Windows 7.
I was playing Sims 4 when about 28 minutes into the game I received a blue screen. I was shocked that it happened to me, seems even with a different operating system it still happened. Only thing I could think of was the video card was just on the edge of dying and so nothing I could do was not playing games on my laptop. I called Comprite on April 25^th 2015. Told them I was still having the same issue but now getting a blue screen all together now. They told me there was nothing they could do to figure out what the problem might be no since it had a fresh install and new drivers. I was pretty much set on the problem being the video card and since finding parts from MSI are very slim I might have to just leave the video card alone and not use it for gaming.
It’s been almost a month now and I gave up playing PC games on my laptop. The laptop itself works perfectly fine I enjoy Windows 7 a lot more than I did with Windows 8 it’s just that if I use the dedicated video card is when I start having the blue screen issues. Next time I will just have to invest on a gaming desktop and not rely on gaming on a laptop.
Edit: After writing this review Paul from Comprite emailed me and refunded some of the money that I spent trying to get the laptop fixed.

My brother drowned his phone and I came in, got it done no problem. And happy with it. The owner is really nice and was happy to help me. Recommend this place to everyone that has any problems with their phone or computer.

Brought my MacBook in to get it working again. I thought it was just the backlight that went out. It turned out to be the screen and backlight that went out. Paul helped us out and was very knowledgable and friendly! He explained exactly what he was planning on doing and explained any and all costs that may or may be involved with the repair. He also backed up all my data and provided it to us on an external drive. Paul is willing to answer any and all questions and doesn’t make you feel pressured to use his business. I felt very comfortable and trusted Paul with my computer and info on it! I would recommend anyone who needs any computer issues or needs some wireless accessories to go to Comp Rite Clackamas. Paul could have easily tried to up sell me on a newer Mac but he really helped us to see that fixing and updating what we had would work great! Thanks Paul! We will be back!

Had issues with a desktop and laptop. They fixed both promptly and for a very reasonable price. Excellent service. They replaced the hard drive on my desktop because it was going bad. Shredded my old hard drive for free. Will be coming back here again.

Great customer service me and my buddy received from them. We walked in minutes before closing with a broken iPhone screen and speaker. Due to our profession we don’t have the ability to get to most stores during normal business hours. They offered to stay late for us so they could fix the iPhone both screen and speaker. We we’re quoted about an hour of time, it took them way less than that. 20 minutes later my buddy was picking his phone up with a new screen and new speaker for the original price we were quoted. Good work guys! Customer service is a value you can find at this store.

Comprite is the best computer repair store I have ever dealt with. They are honest and affordable, as well as quick, professional, and extremely polite. My computer accidentally had a whole glass of liquid spilled on it, and within two days these guys had it fixed and running with the correct parts at the most minimal of prices.

Well I was disappointed. When I spoke to the manager on the phone he assured me that they would come out to my house for x amount of dollars and solve two problems that I was having. While they did solve one problem, they didn’t solve the other and also ended up selling me a new wireless router that was supposed to fix the second problem, but didnt. When I told them I felt it was poor customer service and I would not use them again, I was told that «if they were in my area again, they could stop by and take another look». Bottom line I paid for two services and received one. Even when the tech called the manager from my house to see if he could charge me less, he was told no. Update 2014: john’s review below is slander. I paid for their service, only stopped payment when they wanted to charge me for services they didn’t perform. My original request was for virus removal and to get xbox working through the router. The tech did the virus removal then SOLD me a new router which did not solve the xbox problem. I returned the router to them shortly after their visit. Shame on you for trying to rip off a single mom and then lie about her.

I am not very technologically savvy but what I do know is I love my laptop and need it to survive.
One day, I decided to try to do my own maintenance on my precious laptop and I somehow managed to break a key. I’ve taken keys off to clean under them and had always been able to replace them, but this time I actually broke it. I had no choice but to take it in to a repair shop.
Comprite is in my neighborhood, so I thought I’d check it out. I was told they now have 5 locations, so perhaps you have seen a guy standing on the street waving one of their signs.
Anyways, they have a very reasonable flat fee for repairs. I also needed my cooling fan replaced, and I believe they charged me the lowest price possible. Not only am I very pleased with their work and my cost, they also completed the job extremely quickly. I brought my laptop in around 11 am and was told I could pick it up after 4 pm on the same day. I know the speed was in part because they were not too busy, but still, I appreciate the effort.
I am convinced they charge a fair price for excellent service. No complaints whatsoever.
All in all, I’m very pleased and will definitely return if I have any other issues with my computers. Highly recommended.
