I recently ordered a piece of glass from this company. I worked directly with the owner/manager Brett. I took a sample of the glass that I needed so he would know exactly what I wanted. He ended up having to order the glass for me. When I received the glass, the style was correct, but the squares in the design were a noticeably different size. I went in to return the glass but Brett was not in. The employee on duty had to call Brett. Brett had the employee put me on the phone, and after I discussed the issue with him he asked to speak to the employee again. Once he hung up the phone he told me that he could return the glass but would have to charge me a 20% restocking fee. Rather than dispute this with the employee, I decided to call Brett the following day. He did not return my call, so I called again the next day and got a hold of him. He refused to accept that they made a mistake and tried to tell me that they did me a favor by measuring the glass that was needed and ordering it for me. I asked him isn’t that their job to help the customer and he tried to defend himself by saying that some people call it in and handle their business over the phone. I continued to request a refund based on their mistake and he said he had other things to do and hung up on me. I will never patronize this business or recommend them to anyone. Brett also told me that he was fining me a good deal, and the glass shop 2 miles away had the same product for $ 16 less. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I feel that no one deserves this type of service.
