Dr. Campbell takes great pride in bringing personalized and quality care to our patients and their families. We are a full service general and cosmetic dental practice that utilizes innovative technology and current theory to bring your family the latest in dental care. We have recently been selected as one of Portland’s Top Dentists in 2014 by Portland Monthly and its readers. This is our seventh year receiving such recognition. We appreciate the confidence our patients show us and strive to exceed their expectations with honesty and integrity within a professional, friendly and caring environment.

History

Established in 1997.

Established in 1997 Dr. Campbell graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry in 1996, earning her DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree with Honors. After sharing an office with another dentist for a short time, Claire relocated to her current Sunnyside Rd location in Clackamas.

Dr. Campbell is a member of several dental associations, including the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry, where she completed the requirements to earn her F. A. G. D. (Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry) in July of 2002. She has earned several awards, which include Portland Monthly’s top dentists for 2013. This is Claire’s sixth year as Portland Monthly’s top Dentist. Claire is a member of the Pierre Fauchard Academy and a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, both honorary dental societies. She is a past president of the Oregon Academy of General Dentistry. She has also earned the honor of being one of Portland Monthly Magazine’s «Top 100 Dentists» for 4 years in a row now, which she and her staff are very proud of.

Amazing office. The whole staff is incredibly friendly, and Dr. Campbell is wonderful. My kids come here as well, and they’ve been great with them. HIGHLY recommend!

I cannot give more than one star to a dentist who kicked out a patient with serious toothache.
After an examination, she told me that the tooth should be extracted. The amazing thing is that you can tell from her cold face that she had zero sympathy on you. You have bad teeth, you fault. I asked her whether we could save it. She said «If you need a second opinion, go for it.» I asked her why she did not prioritize on this tooth if this turns so bad. She said «I think our working relationship has not been worked out. You need to leave my office now». Quite rude, huh.
The office has a rule atmosphere. They never call you by your name. All counted, receptionist, dental hygienists and the doctor. I really cannot say they are racist but you can feel something. It is the thing that only minority people would know what it is. It is there.
They never gave you a plan for the treatment. They never gave you an estimation printed on paper. It turned out quite pricy for sure, which explains well the purposes.
If you have some money left for this year, they would call you to use it up. Of course, the goal is not to solve your urgent problems but to really use up your insurance.
Of course, every office has nice people but I hate to say that this office is led by a dentist who is not that nice. I hate to say that but what I experienced today truly convinced me it is the case.

My insurance network changed and had to find new dentist… not fun. After trying a couple places (not good places!) I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Campbell! She is personable, knowledgeable, conservative yet thorough in her approach to what dental work needs to be done. Dental assistant and office staff are super nice and hygenist Amber is great. I highly recommend her practice!

My tooth had been bothering me for over a week and since Dr. Campbell was near my home I called and requested an appointment. Marie, the Patient Coordinator, was kind, sympathetic and easy to work with. She looked up my insurance and booked my appointment quickly. At my visit today everyone provided exceptional service caring for my tooth and my comfort. Melissa the assistant was professional and kept me informed as she did her work. Dr. Campbell was equally professional and approachable. I am delighted to have a new dentist close to my home who is caring, professional, and dare I say it… even fun to visit.
The space is beautiful and relaxing. I am not one who likes to visit the dentist so that is a big deal to me.
Go see Dr. Campbell she will take great care of you and your family. You won’t be disappointed.

I’d actually give 4 and ½ stars.
The hygienist and receptionist were very very charming, and Dr. Campbell seems like she knows her stuff.
I can’t vouch for any major procedures, as I only had my teeth cleaned. But I will be returning here, and would recommend them to a friend.
Extra points for having the latest technology– the X Rays are digital, which expose you to 10% of the radiation that traditional X Rays do.
The only reason I reserve half a star is because our family once had a dentist we were really attached to. He was ridiculously charismatic and it’s kind of impossible for anyone else to compete.

I don’t usually just «walk-​in» to a dentist office, but I was in such pain, I could not muster up the energy to call ahead for an appointment. Luckily for me, this was no problem for Dr. Campbell and her staff. I walked in crying like a baby and they took me right in. After a quick exam and a lot of comforting — Dr. Campbell diagnosed me with an infected root.
They immediately called a specialist, right down the street, and sent me there with a referral in hand. 10 minutes later I was numbed and out of pain for the first time in a week — happy to be having a root canal. Dr. Campbell’s office even called me the next day to make sure I was taken care of properly.
If you are looking for a great dentist with a well-​trained staff, a pleasant office with parking, up-​to-​date magazines (not that you will have time to read them because you won’t wait long), you need to see Dr. Campbell. I have been her patient for 14 years will never go anywhere else. I am so glad my kids grew up with a dentist like Dr. Cambell!
