Generally pleasing and tasty brewery food. Think burgers and comfort entrees. We went recently on a busy weekday evening just as Happy Hour was over and it was a finals game. Despite the bustle, we were seated within 15 minutes. Our waitress was quite busy however we were always attended to by what I would describe as a support team of 4 other staff members. The food took a bit to be prepared and delivered but our waitress checked in with us to give us an ETA when it was deemed we had waited longer than anticipated. I had the Beer Battered Fish and Chips with an upgrade to Vampire Fries and my husband had the Big Porter Blue burger. The fish was presented almost as full filet, battered and fried which I have never seen before but I wouldn’t complain – the fish was tasty and the tarter sauce was well made. The Vampire fries were truly my favorite – I think I could have had a meal of those and been just as satisfied. My husbands burger was«good» but according to him there were«not enough classic flavors” – he could not taste the bacon and either or both the onions and roma jam were too sweet. He did eat the whole thing and reported he was satisfied, he just knows better next time. The atmosphere is a standard, loud and lively brewery where you can convene to watch sporting events or even bring your kiddos without fear of impeding on someone’s quiet, romantic date. I imagine we will return in the future.

Ugh. I had a burger and it was absolutely disgusting. The meat looked like it hit the pan(we all know they don’t have an authentic grill) for 30 seconds. I couldn’t even eat any of the burger. My cocktail was subpar. How could you ruin a rum and coke? The water seemed fine, though.

I was presently surprised when I walked into this microbrew-sports bar, as the atmosphere was very welcoming. I always ask«what is your food specialty» and was informed their burgers rock. OK. My bartender’s suggestion was either the Hillbilly or Big Porter Blue. He also suggested their House-Made Chips… sold. Flip of a coin and it was the Hillbilly Burger with their House-Made Chips. The burger was cooked correctly, and I added ‘schrooms to it and a side of BBQ sauce to dip the chips. When my order came it it had fries on the side no chips(in the picture) to which the BT apologized, and promptly got my chips. I have to state, I still don’t get the disconnect and how ALL restaurant kitchens allow incorrect orders to go out. Come on. It’s not rocket science but I am a customer that didn’t get their correct order. This«slight» mistake occurs more often than not(80⁄20). Moving on… The burger was cooked correctly and the flavor combination outstanding. Great suggestion! I tried 2 fries, OK… nothing special but my chips came out with warm BBQ sauce. Hey Now! Those little bad boys were outstanding. I wiped my plate clean and my palette and stomach were very satisfied. Note: As for a Miller Lite vice their Micro Brew? Micro Brews and I don’t get along… it’s me, nothing to do with their beer. As for my rating. For a sports type bar, they’re really do a good job. The food also reflects who they’re targeting. I was very happy with my meal and had the kitchen not botched my order, I would have gave this rating a 5. That’s something management has to contend with; it’s on them. I highly recommend you visit this sports bar and give it a try.

There seems to be a trend with the restaurant /brewery business which insists upon complicating simple, accessible dishes into a foofy, *trying-too-hard* mess. I’m disheartened to say RAM appears to be squarely among them. If you want drinks and appetizers with pop music and sports on the tv — this could really be your place. If that’s what we’d come in for we’d have likely left happier. We started with a good baseline of fried pickle chips. Tho, the chips’ coating had a sweetness to them I wholly didn’t want, the horseradish dip has a nice kick. When a restaurant offers a menu item which is made a very specific way, such as a Cubano sandwich, to name it as such creates a certain expectation. In this case, I expected VERY little variation on a sandwich made with roasted pork, ham, Swiss cheese, mustard and pickle on a Cuban roll or French roll, pressed and grilled. What I got was… disgusting, and if you look at my previous reviews you will see that I don’t toss that word around much. What arrived on the plate was a grilled cheese sandwich(in as much as the thick sliced white bread was buttered /oiled and grilled) filled with grilled(not chargrilled) ham slices, swiss and Havarti cheeses(the addition of the Havarti had already made me skeptical), two small coins of pickle, and a massive bed of greasy shredded pork they refer to as Carnitas and which was absolutely *ruined* with overpowering amounts of cilantro. Cilantro has ZEROPLACE in a Cubano sandwich. Zero. Furthermore, it has no damned place in Carnitas either. Twice in this sandwich an expectation of one thing was created and another arrived. I attempted to eat the grilled ham and cheese side, avoiding the soapy porky slop, but our server noticed I wasn’t thrilled(I’d warned her when I ordered that I was a bit hard core about my Cubano love), and once I told her I would muscle my way thru the«good» parts, she made sure I got a different sandwich. Big E said his Tuna Melt was odd for what he’d wanted as well, but his wasn’t as offensive as to not eat it(he’s not a fan of sending food back any more than I am and I have friends who work in back of house… I know how returned food and the customer who sent it might be treated). Some positives about the experience, was that our server was eager to get me something I actually would enjoy and I got a pleasantly non-confrontational visit from someone I believe to be the kitchen manager regarding my displeasure. There was no defensiveness in his approach and he was very professional and courteous. I’m always impressed when a business does their best to do right by their guests, so I’m giving an extra star for that. Despite the excellent service /staff, I don’t see us going back. The menu is untrustworthy and the music is so unpleasant to us that my husband and I both had a massive sigh of relief when a horrifically obnoxious 80s pop song was followed by Cruel To Be Kind by Nick Lowe… until someone ACTUALLYMANUALLYSKIPPEDTHESONGAFTERITWASALREADYPLAYING!!! Who does that?! Seriously! I’ve never been in a restaurant of this size /kind where anyone EVER forwarded thru a song! We take it as a sign. It’s not our place.

This place is dope. I love their house beers and fill my growler every time I go in. The weekend special for fill ups is the best in town. The food is also unexpectedly good and fair priced. I highly recommend the Dublin Quesadilla. Staff is always very friendly and make me feel appreciated and important.

I’ve ordered from here a couple of times. The fish and chips are awesome. The armadillo eggs are amazing! I would think, based on this, that all of the food would be awesome. Unfortunately, no… I’m not sure what happened, but the coleslaw was bad. It was dry and tasted mainly of vinegar. The only reason I’m writing this review is because I hope they will see it and fix this. Like I said, I’ve ordered from them twice and have been very happy with the food. They’re great and I highly recommend them, but they really need to fix the coleslaw.

Previously, the Ram was always like«meh» when it came to food/beer/service. Better than mcmenamins, but not fantastic. I would have given 3 stars before. Then I discovered the spicy Caesar salad. Oh. My. Delicious. I couldn’t get enough. I got the blackened salmon with it, amazing. I did make the mistake of eating the roasted jalepeno(not THAT big into spicy!) but I couldn’t help it. It looked soo good!

Really disappointed in this place. We have been coming here since«they» came to Clackamas Town Center. It has gone down hill since«they» moved to the new location(across the parking lot). Not sure what is going on, but the menu is always changing(shrinking) portions are changing(shrinking) and the service isn’t what it used to be. There are better places to watch the game and take the family to dinner.

Our waitress was very friendly & helpful to us. Our dish were so yummy! DH had the Baby Back Ribs, fries, cole slaw. So tender! I ordered the Crab & Artichoke Melt. The crab tasted like it was cracked today, they were from Alaska! I also like the fact, that instead of flopping the other toasted buttered/garlic bread on my melt, it was put on top, so I can eat it later or in between, if I like. That was a plus! The fresh made potato chips, so crispy, just how I like them! We just waited a little too long for our boxes, for our leftover! I wasn’t gonna go here, because I wasn’t sure, if it was an Indian Restaurant but it’s just a SPORTSTHEME restaurant, and RAM. .. seeing all the logo of ram heads, behind the back of their stools, I definitely get it! Nice done, btw!

Food is great. Had the Mushroom Burger Melt, tried Fish n Chips, & the RAM Club Wrap. All were just delish. Side of fries, which were pretty good. But it’s just WAY too loud in here for me. Wait time was okay, but it was because there were a lot of people here. Would I come here again? Maybe.

Everything started out great at least. Came in to watch a college football playoff game and have a few beers and lunch. We found a great table open in the bar, but didn’t have a great view of the game we wanted from our table. We asked if they could change some channels around for us and they were Johnny-on-the-spot about it. Awesome! Our waitress was great(at first) and came to our table often. The manager even stopped by a couple of times just to make sure things were going okay. Things took a turn for the worst when we got the food. Ugh. Meh. Gross. It’s just not very good. My partner wouldn’t even eat his burger because it was so soggy(and he’ll eat just about anything). We ordered some sort of pretzel and cheese sauce appetizer. I thought the pretzel was pretty good… but the cheeses was less than good. Had the food been bad and the service stayed great, I would be writing a better review right now. The restaurant started to get busier during the game. During about the 3rd quarter our waitress stopped coming to us. I flagged her down once to order a beer and get more water, she was polite and said«oh so sorry. I’ll get that beer». The beer never came. What did come was her manager with our tab. Ummm… awkward. We didn’t ask for out tab. He says«oh she thought you guys might be ready for this so asked me to drop it off. No rush.» I. m sorry… are we being asked to leave??? It was SO weird. I just gave him my card and we paid and left. I was beyond annoyed(and also my team was losing, so that didn’t help). Had we been sitting at her table, not ordering, not spending money, being obnoxious, than I can understand them trying to rush us out the door. But that was not even close to being the case. In fact, I was trying to spend money and they just stopped trying take it from me. And there is no way we did anything to have them want us to leave. I had 2 beers… so I certainly wasn’t being a drunken mess or anything. It was just a weird experience. They really missed the mark on customer service for me. Also, a glass of soda water cost $ 2.99. I wish we would have known that before we ordered 5 of them! Ram, maybe you missed the memo, but most places water is free, bubbles or not.

The service was good but when I first came in I told the hostess that it was my daughter’s birthday. So we got seated, ordered, ate and then got our bill. I paid and I waited for about 5 minutes. I went back to the hostess and repeated that it was my daughter’s birthday. The hostess said she’d go and tell the waitress again. I went back to my booth and waited again. I finally gave up and left. Let me just repeat that the service was good except for the end. I was surprising my daughter for her birthday. I don’t get to see her enough, so I was glad to take her out for her birthday. But disappointed that the staff didn’t come through with a simple request.

First time patron, not sure I will come back. Menu was nothing exciting, basically burgers, seemed kinda pricy. Being a Friday afternoon I was surprised there weren’t more patrons, that being said the service was great but getting our order to the table took a lot longer than expected. If you are a burger and chip person you might think this place is great, they are good.

Going to knock it down to a 4-star based on my most recent visit. Everything was still mostly nice, the servers and greeters were all very friendly, the food still good. But they server did not honor my girlfriends request for extra olives on her Proud Mary drink. Therefore, the RAM has been dropped from the mark of ‘exceptional’ to now just ‘very good’. L I’d still recommend this spot to anyone and everyone though.

This is my husbands favorite place so I’m here about once a month. I like it OK. They have good burgers, sandwiches and fries. I did not like the chicken that came on the nachos. It was a super salty chopped/shredded chicken that was a mushy texture. I love the ideas of being able to pick nachos but perhaps they should leave this dish to the Mexican restaurants. My husband says they have the best porters(beer) ever. He likes the Nitro. Tip: don’t order the coffee. It’s worse than 7 – 11.

Went to this Ram for our sons 13th Bday diner his request what a huge disappointment. Took 15 minutes to finally have a waitress show up she was ready to take our food order quickly but failed to ask us if we wanted drinks, silverware or appetizers. Another 20 minutes food shows the manager brings it out all staff acting like we where disturbing them. It took 1 hour and 20 minutes to make 4 meals. Food so bland no seasoning only saw waitress 2x and manager 1x. We went early not busy at all. Will not return if you want a burger go for it but don’t order dinners yuk plus for the price there is not even a dinner salad.

We stopped by here the other day to grab a couple drinks before a show. It was busy, but we were seated right away and had great serves. My favorite thing, and the reason for the 5 stars are the martinis I had. PERFECT dirty, dry martini. Food was also great, love the fried pickle chips. Always a good spot for drinks, food or both!

RAM is a pretty good chain eat that we go to every once in a while. I don’t care for their beer selection, but my husband enjoys the amber ale. We LOVE the beer and cheese dip, and the BBQ Chicken Quesadilla. Their burgers and sandwiches are pretty good as well.

Normally go to the RAM at 10AM to watch NFL Sunday Ticket. They have huge TV’s and usually you can catch most the games. If you head over to the bar in the morning it’s almost always empty and you can request whichever game you want. Food wasn’t mind blowing, but it wasn’t too bad. Typical appetizer fare. They have a few brews of their own, but nothing to write home about. The restaurant itself is just a nice comfortable place to crash and catch the game. Service and the manager are always super friendly, quick and welcoming.

Fantastic service. From the fella opening the door, to the hostesses, to the server. Our little one didn’t enjoy his mac and cheese and when the server heard that, he said no charge. On top of that, the manager came out and let us know that he was disappointed that it wasn’t up to par and there would be no charge. As for the adult food, it was awesome. Blackened Mahi Mahi tacos, big porter burger and the chimchuri chicken Were outstanding. Also the beer battered fish and chips was the best I have had since H Salt . We love this place and will be back asap. I didn’t get any names because I was too busy shoving my face with food, but we will absolutely be back. Thanks Ram staff!!!

First impressions were very good because I didn’t lift a finger walking in. The doors were opened for us as we entered the establishment and we were immediately sat down. I was also followed up by my waitress in the matter of a few minutes. The wait for food was not very long and it was good quality for what you pay. On that note, the food is not very expensive and happy hour has a nice menu. Buffalo waffle fries are my favorite of these choices. I also never had my water drop below half full. The burgers range from 10 – 14 dollars and are very good quality in flavor. A bit greasy but good flavor non the less. This will be a place that I return to. A strong team on the floor with great performance tonight. Good job.

Wow talk about a long wait for service. Server was nice, but took way too much time between drinks and taking order. Food was fine but it took way to long to get to table. The food is pretty good, the service, ehh… In fact, it was my birthday and my husband and I decided on going out to Ram for dinner. When my husband mentioned to the server that it was my birthday we were informed that in order to be «acknowledged» you must register a year in advance on their website. …I chose this place to celebrate a special event, and after wards felt like I would of felt more special going to Red robin…

This was between 2.75−3.0 stars. This is one of those huge warehouse restaurants. I think they are not yet a national company, but they are gaining popularity. We went here on a Saturday night. It was pretty busy. I would guess that they are short of staff because there were some empty tables and our party had to wait. After we were seated, we waited a long time to place our order, waited a long time to get our food. I think the whole experience was about 90 minutes. I just think they did the best they could. The service was as attentive as they could be because there was only a few servers working the floor. I ordered the Ram Mac & Cheese bowl RAMMAC&CHEESE Rich & creamy. Price starts at 9.25 Then you can Add To Your Mac & Cheese(Price Per Item): Blackened Chicken Breast $ 3, Grilled Chicken Breast $ 3, Roasted Jalapenos $ 1, Hickory Smoked Bacon $ 2, Blackened Prawns(Or Grilled) $ 7, Roasted Vegetables $ 2. I ordered the M&C with chicken, bacon, and jalapeños. So one bowl of Mac and Cheese with the add ons= $ 15 This comes with no sides. Not a great value. They should add a dinner salad to the offering to boost this menu item. I should also mention that the chicken that came on the M&C was almost non-exisitant. I think the server was even surprised of the not even noticeable chicken when she brought it to me. I would say it was ¼ of a chicken breast cubed. –FAIL! I like the fact that you can make any burger a veggie burger. So my husband ordered the SANTAFERODEO– Southwest seasoned, roasted green chiles, melted Wisconsin pepper jack, lettuce, chipotle mayo, pico de gallo, cilantro pesto, on pretzel bun. They did a decent job with that. They could have browned the veggie burger a little more but it was good. It came with a very small side of fries. I tasted the beer that my husband ordered. I didn’t care for it. I prob wouldn’t order it. I forget the name of it. I will amend the review once I get the word from him. He seemed to think it was ok. I ordered a skinny coconut margarita which tasted like hair dye. Kudos to the server for making it right. I read some of the other reviews about this place being big warehouse big portions similar to that of claim jumpers across the street. I didn’t think that this was accurate. This reminds me more of like an applebees as per their quality and portion sizes. This place was not memorable, but I guess I would come back here and give it a second chance. Maybe their happy hour would be a better value?

Stopped by for a quick lunch on our way to the mall. It was around lunch time. Service was slow. The bar area was pretty busy and there was only one bartender. Food was good. I had the fish tacos the fish was really good but the rice had to much of a spice taste for me. I did enjoy it came with black beans though. Also had a Bloody Mary which was good it came with a tiny glass of beer which was cute and cool.

I find the customer service at the Ram lacking on every visit. I always get the strong sense that the servers just don’t care. The ambiance of the Ram has a restaurant/bar feel for sure. They have a good selection of spirits and a okay selection of taps. I have never cared for the food. It is standard quality at twice the price. The parking lot is a mess. We decided to stop by because I always crave the Armadillo Eggs. These things are so awful that they are good. They have a lot of different flavors going on inside. They are hot and greasy. I just love them. When the Ram was in Lake Oswego we loved to go there for the great ambiance and pretty good food. Since their relocation all of that magic has disappeared. The Ram just isn’t special anymore which is a shame. It is overwhelming, sloppy and no one seems to care. The Ram is similar to the Claim Jumpers across the road. Pick which one is less crowded and go to that one even though they are both almost always super busy. The food quality at both restaurants is the same. I would not go out of my way for the Ram unless I am craving that strange Armadillo Egg appetizer and now I am.

Not much needs to be said about this place other than it’s awesome. They have a big menu but their specialty seems to be their wide variety of burgers. The prices are very reasonable and their happy hour menu rocks. I would recommend upgrading to their vampire fries if you get a burger as they are garlicly delicious. The place is huge and if you are a sports fan they have many TVs as well. Overall i definitely recommend and trying one of their large selection of burgers. Also sign up for their loyalty club to get great deals emailed to you. They frequently send me bogo offers.
