History

Established in 1930.

On July 1, 1930, A.T. Spence began selling insurance for clients in Clairton and the surrounding neighborhoods. In 1944 after WWI, Glenn Spence joined his father and together they established the A T Spence and Son Agency. The company grew, serving the Mon Valley by establishing a reputation for for fair and honest service, good prices, and personal attention. A T Spence retired in 1955, and Glenn ran the office on his own until he was joined by his son Charles Spence in 1977.

In addition to serving the insurance needs for individuals and small businesses, the office provides Notary Public services, and well as car title transfers and registration renewals.
