Just off the phone w/​dispatch, asking questions about pricing, and he was dismissive «you need to call during the day»…yikes!

I had my Yamaha motorcycle key blank cut here. It worked perfectly on the first try. Reasonable prices.
They work with AAA and cut a lot of motorcycle keys. In fact, it turns out they stock a lot of the motorcycle key blanks, which is rare.
Awesome customer service. I would pay them a visit next time I need any key cut.

I needed my door lock fixed or replaced. I contacted Claremont Lock & Key and received clear information on how they bill and when they were available. Later that afternoon I received a call that the service tech, John, was on his way. He did an outstanding job, was able to repair my existing lock. I highly recommend this business to anyone in need of a locksmith. From the office staff to the on site technician, outstanding service.

I locked my keys in my trunk like a dumb ass. I was in need of something fast and cheap bc I’m a graduate student and I’m in the process of moving. The guy came, got my info and unlocked my car. Other than being embarrassed everything went quite well. Thank you!

My front door assembly came loose, & I couldn’t figure it out. The very nice serviceman (whose name I didn’t get – sorry) showed me how it worked, and it was such an instant no-​brainer for him that he didn’t even charge us. My new go-​to lock & key service!

I called them yesterday and they came out several hours later! Had a front door lock and dead bolt which were not working. They were on time and polite after about 40 minutes the lock and dead bolt were fixed. Thank you for your swift response

I called Claremont Lock & Key to change the locks of our new home. The office staff is super polite and helpful; I received a call-​ahead letting me know when to expect the locksmith. John showed up as friendly as can be and suggested that I may want the locks to all match the antiqued bronze color I like (the previous owners had some of those and also some ugly gold-​brass ones). «Dang» I thought. «He’s right, but I really wanted to get this done today.» Before I could finish that thought, John suggested that I go get the locks I want and just give a call back to the office and he’d come back later in the day. :Insert screeching tires: What?! You are amazing John! He came back that same morning and the locks all look great! I can’t say anything but good things about the experience! Thank you!

I went to the local Toyota dealer to see about getting another master key made for a used Corolla I had bought somewhere else that only came with one key. They wanted close to $ 400 for it, which seemed pretty ridiculous to me. I stopped by Claremont Lock & Key and after chatting with Marty for a few min. I decided to buy a blank key online and have Marty cut and program it for me. Got the blank a week later and it took Marty all of 20 min. to cut and program it. He saved me hundreds of dollars and his work was nothing short of spectacular. Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you Marty.

I agree. I stop by Claremont Lock & Key a few months back when my husband was out of town as I had a door with glass that had a deadbolt but no key.
I went in and spoke with Marty asking about on site service and he said he would be happy to provide the service but it would be more cost effective for me to take the lock off and bring it in. I inquired about the recent crime reports, if I had the tools to take it off and he saw the stress on my face about the possibility of spending another night alone with that door unsecure. We arranged for on site service just a few hours after the visit, he fitted keys for the door and charged me a very reasonable fee for on site same day service! I was so happy. I also asked him to check the windows and other doors and he gave me a real education what locks are hard to pop, how to secure them and what was already very secure. I sleep like a baby that night. The cost, the service, the response time, trust and knowledge will keep me a loyal customer ! Doing the right thing will always bring back loyal customers! He is a true Claremont GEM!

I am somewhat new to Claremont and when I read of some of the recent break ins in the Courier, I went to Claremont lock and key to ask about getting a key made for a side door that I could not find the key for. The person there explained it would be more affordable to me to bring in the dead bolt lock for a fit and I decided my husband would be bettter to do that task. When the person saw my concern and that I mentioned my husband was out of town for a week, he asked to meet me at my home a few hours later in the day and fitted the key for my lock right on site. Within 30 minutes, I had that door secure with extra keys made at a very affordable price. He also educated me on a few windows that were not as secure as I thought. I was able to sleep that night with no worries. I highly recommend Claremont Lock and Key as a trusted and affordable resource to keep your home safe. THey are good people!

I had a key cut and programmed for my car. Key works great. Excellent service and very reasonably priced.

We recently purchased a home and needed the our doors re-​keyed. I had the unfortunate experience of calling a horrible fly-​by-​night place which ended up sending someone out who tried to rip me off by attempting to charge me over $ 200 for just re-​keying two doors. (Don’t use 24 hour locksmith, see my other review)
I ended up calling Claremont Lock & Key and they sent someone out same day. By the way, Sander’s owns Claremont Lock & Key, so don’t be confused when someone shows up in a Sander’s uniform.
Michael was the locksmith that arrived and he was very courteous and efficient, it took him minutes to get the locks re-​keyed and only cost us $ 79, which was exactly what they quoted on the phone. He also gave us some great free pool advice :)

They did an outstanding job replacing my back door! I was very impressed with the workmanship and professional demeanor of their employees. They used my existing hardware to save me some money and to maintain the historic «look» of my home. I would highly recommend using them.

I have been using Sander’s ever since I locked my keys in my car on one of my first events I had to host for work. Ever since that fateful day, Sanders has been always there. Now I can use Claremont Lock & Key for my home stuff.

WAS FANTASTIC!!! Now new ownership that is TOTALLY unprofessional! Try calling after hours and see what happens. This lady picks up the phone and yells at you for calling after hours and won’t even take a message.
It’s too bad Quentin sold the business — he was VERY professional, courteous, and friendly. This is critical for property management as you want someone your tenants TRUST!
