This is my «go to» shop for presents for my wife and daughter. There is a wonderful collection of ever changing inventory that will always make a great gift. The ladies in my house are big fans of PJ Salvage pajamas and robes and there is always a great selection. The gift wrapping they offer is fantastic as well. Well done!

I’ve bought so many cute pajamas and outfits you just can’t find elsewhere. When you walk in it’s like entering a fantasy. Wonderful soaps and lotions too.

Been here — it’s OK. My wife seems to like the place — oh well. What can I say? She is a regular customer from out of town…

I love this place, my grandma used to take me here all the time. It’s definitely a girly shop so I wouldn’t bring a boyfriend or husband with me. The only thing is it can get expensive.

I love this little store. I have been shopping here since I was a teen. It is always a must visit when I am back home in Claremont. I like to look at the jewelry selection and I can always find some great earrings here. My favorite part of the store is all of the bath soaps, fragrances, and lotions. I remember when I was a teenager, I was always excited when someone bought me a gift basket from here. Those were always the best gifts. Parking is on the street or in one of the little lots throughout The Village. It does get crowded on the weekends or during special events.

I like this shop a lot. They have everything from clothing and jewelry to soaps and fragrances. But what made my experience even better was the level of service I got. I’m not sure of the lady’s name, but I think she’s the owner… REALLY nice woman who is very helpful. I was just window shopping at the time, checking out fragrances and soaps, so I didn’t really buy anything, but the items they sell are really great.

I have been shopping in this, one of my very favorite boutiques, since 1984 and thought it high time that I pass along what a wonderful hidden gem it is – especially in time for VALENTINE’S DAY! Every time I visit I discover some new line of fabulous perfumed items(this time it was LOLLIA), beautiful and unique jewelry(sometimes for gifts and usually for myself), and the most lovely bags and paper products(I believe from a company called PAPAYA). The ladies and girls are always so helpful and friendly even when I walk in just to take a look. I could go on about the great candles, pajamas and gift wrapping etc. but go check it out for yourself – especially GUYS if you’re looking for that perfect gift for the ladies in your life they will set you up right!

Jasmine’s has been a family after thanksgiving shopping destination for many many years. We return like clockwork because Barbara, the owner, is a doll and treats her customers like old friends, offers beautiful, unique merchandise at a reasonable price, and takes the time to help you making each visit a real treat. Her little boutique is loaded with feminine treasures that dazzle the senses, and I never manage to leave without several said treasures that Barbara and her staff carefully wrap up in pretty gift giving packages, regardless of amount spent($ 6 – 500!). Today, for instance, I purchased a delightful bundle of sliced scented glycerine soaps($ 6.50), and at the register i requested an extra wrap bag since i was splitting them up for stocking stuffers, and to my delight and surprise Barbara not only sent me two extra wrap bags and ribbons, she threw in a surprise slice of peppermint holiday sliced soap. See, a doll! Don’t miss this this little gem. Drop in and experience the rich scents of hand picked lotions, perfumes, soaps and oils, the soft feel of luxurious pajamas and undergarments, and the sparkly array of jewelry, vintage chandeliers and night lights she has nestled about the shop.

Recently, while walking and exploring Claremont, I came upon Jasmine. I had been searching for some time for REAL patchouli oil, like I used to wear back in high school, and lo and behold! this store has the real deal! The girl(owner?) who helped me was very Nice and showed me all the different scents of essential oils… I ended up buying 3 vials: Rain essence, Strawberry, and my beloved Patchouli. I love them! They ARE the old oils that smell so pure and good on my skin, and are not watered down, or a cheap imitation… The girl was VERY nice and helpful and I will return next time I am visiting Claremont to buy some of those nice pajamas she sells there, too! Try to stop in if you are looking for any scents that you used to have in the late 70’s, essential-oil-wise. She has them all! A Great Store!

I chose a pair of earrings, price tag was $ 35.00, woman asked if I would like her to keep them behind the counter while I continued to shop, I said«yes». Time to make purchases of additional items and when the total at the register came up I knew something was wrong… I asked to check the calculation, and to my disappointment the price tag on the earrings had been changed to $ 70.00. ALWAYS watch what you are interested in buying. Make sure and double check the price tag does not mysteriously increase behind the counter. CUTESHOPTHOUGH.

Like the other reviewer, I’ve also been going to this boutique since I was a kid and ALWAYS find a little treasure in Jasmine! Barbara is wonderful… not only does she remember every customer but she always makes you feel like an old friend stopping by for a chat. Her products are nothing less than beautiful and she has so many treasures in her store. Every item you buy is wrapped in the most immaculate way regardless of the price. Jasmine is a local gem and is loved by all Claremonters!

Oh, I LOVE this boutique. I really do. I’ve been going there since they opened, back when I was 13! The owner(Barbara) and her sister(Torri(sp?) who may be co-owner, I am not sure) are so sweet and kind. Spending $ 500.00 or spending $ 5.00, no problem! Same service, same kindness and attention to detail. They have lovely, super femm gift baskets pre-made or you can collect items you love and have one made for you. There are lovely dresses, really pretty(truly pretty, such an under respected word, «pretty» is) jewelry, fun, sexy items, elegant items… anything for the feminine influence in your life from age 3 to 93 ;) I always anticipate special events so I can take a bit to shop there. It’s really nice, and I hope it stays around for another 25 years! :) And for those of you that are interested, as my Dad reminded me, this building was, back in the 70’s, the original Rhino Records… and ya’ll know what record shops were all about in the 70’s…right??? ;)
