History

Established in 1989.

The Law Offices of Allan C. Alongi, established in 1989, opened its present location — 3 Golf Avenue, Clarendon Hills, Illinois — in 2011, after moving from 19 N. Grant Street in Hinsdale, Illinois. Recently, the Law Offices has added an office in downtown Chicago, at 332 South Michigan Avenue. Although the mailing address remains in Clarendon Hills.

Business Owner

Allan received his Juris Doctor from Illinois Institute of Technology — Chicago Kent Law School and a B.G.S. from the University of Iowa.

He started his career in working in law as a law clerk in Chicago while attending law school. Upon graduation he joined an AV rated firm in Downers Grove and worked there for three years until he opened his own firm in Hinsdale in 1988. For 21 years Allan practiced at the corner of Grant and Walnut in Hinsdale until in 2011 he opened his present office in the center of Clarendon Hills directly across the street from the Village Hall and the Metra Train

Station.

Elected to the Clarendon Hills Village Board in 2005, Allan was re-​elected in 2009 and served until 2013. He chaired the Administration/​Legislation Committee.

His professional memberships include the Du Page County Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association. He is also an active Rotarian in Hinsdale having served as Membership Chair, Scholarship Chair, and Board Member.
