Infiniti of Clarendon Hills

This is my worst experience ever. After I selected a vehicle an appointment was set, I was very excited since I was looking for this vehicle for a long time. Anyhow when arrived at the dealership to my surprise I was told that the vehicle I have selected (and all similar models) are on a recall and I cannot purchase any of them (seriously)…if that was the case why I was not notified by a phone call or email before my planned schedule visit for the test drive? why? and on top of it all they tried to «up-​sell» by telling me we have 2016 models (with no recalls)…you should look at them, why should I? …it was memorial day weekend and I was so looking forward to get a good deal and «customer service» from this dealership… but unfortunately my experience was very negative. Finally, I bought the vehicle from another dealer with no fuss… I will not recommend this dealership.

We had 2 major problems with this dealership… My fiancée came here 2 days ago to purchase a 2014 certified car. We didnt find out until we arrived the car she wanted could not be sold due to recall problems. You would think car dealerships would not post cars if they are not able to sell them. 2^nd Problem– The nxt day my fiancée went online and found another car she was interested in buying. The posting states the car had navi, premium package etc. The dealer name Phil told her there was an error and the car posted online did not have navigation and nor the premium package. We then requested to speak with Manager. Manager Joe who told us he could sell us the car BUT we would have to signed papers clarifying «we knew the car didnt have a navigation system.» What type of dealership is this??? So, I would say run, run and run fast. Find another car dealership.

I bought a Q50 from Bill Mullarkey at Infiniti of Clarendon Hills last week and I couldn’t be happier. Bill is awesome and he made the car buying process enjoyable! Infiniti of Clarendon Hills has the best selection, superior service and the best deals!

I just made my first infinity purchase and Nathaniel was the sales agent. The service was excellent and he was so personable and so professional he made the process soo Smooth, also Peter the owner took time out of his busy day to personally thank me for my purchase. I just bought a QX50 from Clarendon Hills Infiniti this week. It is the 3^rd time that I have purchased a car on the Internet.
I live 700 miles away and I didn’t leave my house to see the car… or to negotiate for the car… or to sign the contract for the car… or even to pick up the car… and without a doubt, it was the most satisfying and simplest car buying experience I have ever had.
Bill Mullarkey was there every step of the way to ensure the process went as smoothly and easily as possible. I couldn’t be more pleased and highly recommend that anyone who is is anywhere in the USA that is interested in a new Infiniti reach out to the team at Clarendon Hills. Based on my personal experience, their price can’t be beat, their service is unparalleled and their ethics are without question.

Purchased a G37XS CPO and the transaction couldn’t have gone more smoothly. Most of the negotiation was handled before I set foot on the lot by Gary via telephone and text. His low pressure, no-​nonsense approach to selling cars was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, I was unable to show up to the dealership until almost closing time on a Friday evening. Gary still encouraged me to «come in late» and said that «staying late» was in their job description. He was super responsive, and has even reached out a few times since the purchase to ensure that I remain highly satisfied. A Class Act!
John handled the sales transaction and I couldn’t be more pleased. He was honest, and upfront about what he could and could not do. I sincerely appreciated the fact that there were no «games» involved in the process, from start to finish. He was personable, entertaining, and was extremely low pressure. Some salesmen ask «what can we do to get you in this car today» as a sales gimmick but John asked a similar question but I could tell he wasn’t asking me how he could «make a sale today» but really wanted to assist me getting into the car. John and Joe worked with me extensively to obtain the most favorable financing and, even though we were sill trying to get things wrapped up at 10:30pm on a Friday evening, no one seemed in a rush to speed things along (in a good way). We were in the neighborhood the following day and we decided just to stop by to say «hello» to John. I’m confident he is going to be making a couple more sales from me in the coming years. Couldn’t be happier.
The worst part of purchasing cars for me is always finalizing the paperwork with the finance team. For some reason I hate the song and dance of upgrading warranties, signing documents, up sells, etc. While Jacob did his job (I understand he has to provide all of the options to me) he did not try to talk me into anything I wasn’t interested in and to say he was pleasant would be an understatement. My wife recently had completed Chemotherapy and had undergone a double mastectomy. Jacob was so empathetic to our situation that his eyes started watering as my wife and I described what the past year had been like for us. Again, even though it was late on a Friday night, he was truly interested in learning more about «us» and we spent almost a half hour just «getting to know» each other. I’ve never had such an experience from a finance department.
This entire dealership sets the standard for how car sales should be handled. I couldn’t be happier with my car buying experience and Infiniti of Clarendon Hills has earned a customer for life.

I bought a used vehicle here and traded in my Honda. I was treated respectfully (as a woman buying and selling on my own) and was never made to wait or pressured in any way. Then things got difficult (my doing). I had a signature missing on my paperwork, I made a request to change the financing amount which delayed the sale, meanwhile a family tragedy, then my husband’s father died. And you know, each person I dealt with, from Steven in sales, to Jacob Lubinski in finance, to the general manager Joe Fruzyna and the used car manger Joe Belmonte, — all were kind, reasonable and willing to work out solutions. At each step in the process, when there was a problem, it was solved. I’d go back in a heartbeat, and have nothing but gratitude for how our family was treated, in what turned out to be a very difficult time. Infinity should be proud of this dealership.

I’ve I could I would give this place a ZERO! They kept my car for 10 days and didn’t do a thing to it. Because my husband is a mechanic and inquired if he could fix the problem himself (car wouldn’t start) they denied us a dealer car. They told us that it was the computer system and it would cost over 2,000 to fix it per their code reader. To top it all off the car had a recall on the passenger air bag. 10 days and the car just sat there with nothing being done. I finally got so furious that I called a tow truck and had it towed to Infiniti in Hoffman Estates. Brought the car there, was given a brand new 2015 G35X (A newer version of our car) as a dealer car and guess what? 2 days later car was for fixed! Wanna know the problem? One of the cables to the battery melted and needed to be replaced for $ 150 bucks! Infiniti Clarendon Hills is garbage!

Recently leased a vehicle from Eric Eckert. Its nice to meet a salesman does not push you into purchasing just any vehicle. He took the time to understand want I wanted in a car and made me feel like I was in total control of the situation. Between Eric and Joe Belmonte I would highly recommend this dealership. They have never steered me wrong and made me feel like part of the family.

I have had the pleasure of owning and leasing both from Infiniti of Clarendon Hills. Unfortunately due to financial difficulties, I was unable to pursue the buy out on my 2013 JX35. Upon receiving my End of Lease Liability Statement, I was charged a «Disposition Fee» of $ 395. Apparently this was something in my multi-​page contract that I was not aware of at the undertaking of this lease. This was an unanticipated expense that is a hardship at this time. I had attempted to pay out the final expense for excess wear and miles upon return of the vehicle (which was a fiasco in and of itself as I waited nearly an hour for a scheduled appointment in which the individual was not even on the premises). After contacting IFS I was informed that there was nothing to be done and just to let it go to collections if I wanted to pay it slowly. Thanks but no thanks Infiniti… I would like to keep my credit score intact. Essentially, I encourage you all to take the time to read your contracts in full as your sales people will summarize it without pointing out significant fees due at the time for relinquishing your vehicle. I am disappointed to say that I have recommended Infiniti to so many friends and coworkers, to be shafted by them in the long run.

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT come here.
The service team is horrible. I had no idea that Tony (Bonifazi) was the service manager. He was very arrogant and extremely rude when I mentioned to him that I think the service team may have left some dirty marks in my car.
Never again will I come here. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere.

Expect minimal levels of service, other Infiniti dealers in Chicagoland are far superior than this one.
We came in for an oil change and the service engine light was on. They only took care of the oil change and ignored the engine light. We were back at home when we realized the light was still on so we called to inquire and no one called us back.
We headed to the dealership and asked Anna about the search engine light still being on. Anna said that a diagnostic would be required which is ~$ 140. We were fine with the fee with but why didn’t someone mention this before we wasted over 3 hours on a day off???
To makes things worse, Anna didn’t apologize for the misunderstanding or inconvenience and barely gave us the time of day. We had no issue with paying the diagnostic fee but thought this should have explained. The level of service is simply poor.

Worst dealership I have ever been to. It is beautiful, sparkling and brand new– but the customer service leaves much to be desired. The point person lady for service is rude, I accommodating, and abrupt. I have never been treated so poorly when taking my QX into any other dealership. Very disappointed to the point that I may switch out of buying infiniti in the future!

Although the salesman was pleasant and I liked the car, I would never walk into the place again. After test driving the car, I left my driver’s license there. At closing, the manager discovered it. We agreed not to inconvenience them and he said it would be at the front desk in the morning. When I arrived about an hour after they opened, the receptionist was horribly rude when she couldn’t find it. She said there are no managers there in the morning. When I became upset, instead of calming the situation, she yelled at me. When she lifted the phone to call the salesman, she found an envelope with my name on it which she threw at me. This should not be the face of a business.

Outstanding service both on the front end and delivery. I have bought 2 cars in the last 3 years for Clarendon Hills Infinity and will keep coming back

Just bought an Infinity G 37 X and before we could even pull out of the dealership it already had a problem!!! So much for their Certification!
And then when we questioned it, we got major attitude from the manager. After being here for 5 hours for this whole process, we are so done! Never again.

I give these guys 2 stars because Steve Johnson, while he did turn out to be a good sales guy, the car he sold me that had ‘no issues’ ended up having plenty.
He did make good on his promise & gave me consideration of having the car re-​inspected and they did repair 1 of 7 things. My main issue here was a selling feature (cruise control) on the car did not work. They refused to fix it, claiming it had nothing to do with the ‘safety’ of the car. Sales manager Joe Belmonte was kind. Considerate and listened to my concerns. The general
Manager– Joe Ferino (sp?) WHAT A JAG !!!
He was belligerent. Condescending. Obnoxious when I spoke to him on the phone. He refused to listen to my point that this now becomes an issue of principle rather than $$ & repairs. They sold me a car which has certain features and those features do not work. He ruined my entire experience with this dealer. I won’t buy my QX80 here!

i lease a 2014 qx60. when i came in to do a complimentary oil change (that is included with the lease) the rep never told me that it is only complimentary at the dealer which sold me the lease. On top of that they upsold me on an alignment (which was not necessary– that is probably my fault for not being tougher with the service lady). to top it offjthey would not wash my car because it was 18degrees (their cut off was 20), complete nonsense. so an oil change, alignment and tire rotation cost me $ 220… WTF

My overall experience here was decent. I was looking for a certified-​used G37x. Bob Polanek was the 1^st salesman I dealt with. He wasn’t pushy and seemed very knowledgeable about their inventory. I wasn’t quite ready to purchase and asked him to keep me posted on new arrivals. I was monitoring their inventory via their website and saw a couple cars in particular that I was interested in. Due to a family emergency, Bob wasn’t available the Saturday I came in to purchase a car. Bill Mullarkey assisted my husband and me but I was disappointed that his service level was less than Bob’s. At first, he only spoke to my husband until he got the point that I was making the decision & purchase. He was less knowledgeable about the G37x models but I had done my research so not a real issue. They matched my trade-​in quote from Carmax and beat my pre-​approved interest rate. They weren’t overly pushy about purchasing an extra warranty. A smooth transaction overall, in-​and-​out within a few hours.
BUT I was disappointed after I arrived home with the car and noticed a large depression in the rear bumper that I had not noticed in the sunlight at the dealership. I emailed Bill immediately. He had me bring the car back for their body guys to work on. They did what they could but it doesn’t look much better. I guess it’s not quite the quality I expected for a certified-​used car. It definitely bothers me every time I look at it…

I really like this place. From sales Greg Gaumond to F&I Bill to service Anna C, it’s a friendly, inviting spot. And while these are premium vehicles, their purchase and service prices come nowhere close to the German makes, no matter how nice those cars are. They’re likely more reliable too.
The dealership is always really clean. Keurig machines, computers and wifi in the waiting lounge. Their complimentary car washes are top notch. Everyone’s friendly and accommodating.
