This Barnes and Noble is great! They have so many things to get and are very organized and knowledgeable except for one female employee who is not very helpful and is unenthusiastic, for someone working in the children’s section. The frapps are a must-try at Starbucks, they make them exceptionally well! Overall, faboo place!

Just a heads up for people complaining about the lack of outlets. As someone who formerly worked at a B&N — I know that they hide the outlets deliberately, and for good reason — it’s a bookstore, not your place for free WiFi and resources. Go to a library. They hide the outlets, because if they let people plug in and stay all day, the already crowded café would be way over crowded with people who aren’t buying café items. Now that being said — Barnes in Noble in Clark is always very clean and well stocked. Less crowded than the Barnes & Nobles in the mall, and the staff is always helpful!

I still don’t know why I come here, everytime I do decide to pop in for a magazine it’s always a project. There is one person working the register and of course it’s the slowest human being alive. I can’t imagine that it’s a good time to strike up a long conversation with a customer or offer to talk about special clubs they can sign up for when their is a line wrapped around the store. Manpower is not used optimally at all. I watched a lady stocking pens on a shelf while their is one person on the register and 25 people waiting to be checked out. This is the second time I’ve left my items on the counter and left without purchasing anything.

Above average Barnes and noble. Good for a local spot. Chills is connected if u get hungry . Not a 2 floor spot but it has a Starbucks café and desserts . Always good customer service and super clean.

Quiet, clean, good ambiance. NOPLUGOUTLETS for your computer in the WHOLE place(including the Starbucks). Ridiculous! What kind of business model is that? Good for reading a good book or writing in your journal but not long-term work. They might as well put up a sign that says«You can stay as long as your battery last». I picked up two books and didn’t buy them because of how irritated I was(I will purchase them from Amazon; why make the writers suffer.)

The manager needs to go to anger management and customer service classes. Refused to give a business card or a last name. Anyway, manager– Kevin is not long for Barnes and Noble if he treats customers like such an indignant child. I fully intend on calling corporate, I’m tired of being mistreated by employees of stores whether it be small or chain. If asked what I think of this book store my answer would have to be, I have no idea I couldn’t get passed the(insert expletive) at the counter to do a simple return and buy the book I needed for my sons book report. In a world of cranky sales people and lower management, it’s just better to use Amazon I guess, sad… I used to love shopping at bookstores. My advice: skip this one and head to Route 22 B&N in Springfield.(You’ll be treated better)

Great place to come and find that book you’re looking for or just to chill out with a friend! I like the that they have a separate section for kids and a storytelling series among other events. You can easily, find what you’re looking for by asking one of the friendly, staff members. If the item is not available in the store, it can be ordered and sent to your home… Parking is plentiful and there’s a Chili’s restaurant next door. The only bummer is Starbucks does not accept the app or the Gold card, so no Gold star rewards for me, ugh!

Would be 3.5 stars… The store is clean, with places for you to sit, relax, and read. They have a café which sells Starbucks products. They also have free WIFI too. The people at the cash registers are slow, especially during crowded hours. Also, a lot of books are sold at regular retail, which is a huge turn-off. But still, it’s always worth coming back to look around and read!

This one is really nice, quiet, clean, has a nice Starbucks café, and isn’t the biggest but its nice that its right next to chili’s.

The store’s AC is barely comfortable. The store needs a little updating. We were able to find the book we were looking for. The chairs in the magazine section by the windows are shot. The stuffing is coming out of some of the chairs arms and the wood chairs are well worn.

First off, I love any book store. I live for books. but I like this store and have spent countless hours here devouring books. The staff is alright. I don’t normally deal with them unless I am looking for a particular book that I cannot find. They have a Starbucks which is nice, normally always packed though. Normally very well organized and I like that they have story time in the morning for toddlers. I used to nanny and would bring the little ones here. They enjoyed that very much.

As a person always on the hunt for free wi-fi and quiet at a place other than my own home, I started coming here to get work done. Compared to the chaotic Barnes and Noble in Springfield, this is a pleasant getaway but only during off-peak hours. Should you happen to visit during peak weekend hours, you won’t find the café very quiet. However, the loud chattering and laughter is nothing some headphones and an easy listening Pandora station cant solve. In what seems like an attempt to limit the amount of time people spend at the café, the outlets have all been covered. If you come with a low laptop battery, you wont find any refuge in this café. After a few visits, I have found that if you are willing to sit on the floor, you can find some power outlets placed throughout the store. Lastly be cautious about seating in the café, as the number of patrons increases you may find yourself playing a game of musical chairs for a seat and table. All those gripes aside, I will continue to come here as I can no longer handle the crowd at the Route 22 location. At some point, I will take a proper stroll through the store but from what I’ve seen so far the set-up is normal to most barnes and noble stores.

I love this Barnes and Noble. It has a great game section and lots of books. You often find people studying in the Starbucks because it actually is pretty quiet. The Starbucks also sells some pastries from the Cheesecake Factory as well as a small sandwich/lunch menu, which is always a plus. Btw, the people at the Starbucks can ring up your books too. :)

This is the best Barnes & Noble I’ve ever been to! Clean, well-organized, cozy chairs, with a Starbucks café that has really good selection. Great place to study, read, buy books/stationery, or wait to meet friends at the Thai Diner next door. :)

I’m always able to find the perfect book to give as a gift! I usually choose one from the large«picture books»(a.k.a. coffee table books). If they don’t have a book in stock, they can get it quickly. They always are short staffed ~ it’s hard to get someone to assist you on a weekday during the day. Often, you have to wait quite a while because there is only person at the information desk and several customers waiting. Then at the check out registers, there are never enough, whether it’s during the holiday season or not. That’s the frustrating part; you can’t do a «quick last minute shopping trip».

It’s a good Barnes and Noble. Not the biggest one within’ 30 minutes of where I live, but this one always has what I want and is only 10 minutes away from me. Size really doth not matter. Only buzzkill is if you come when it’s busy… cuz there’s usually one person at the register. And sometimes it’s the dude who you can tell hates his job. Like the other reviews said… spacious and clean… the employees at the Starbucks are super nice. Almost…too nice… hmmmm…

I was visiting NJ on vacation(I am originally from the area, but moved away several years ago. I was impressed with how friendly the staff at this location was. Store was very clean and there was ample tables/seating. Not one on top of each other like in my current location.

I hate reading books but this place makes you wanna read a book just because. Hands down the best barnes n nobles I’ve been in. Super clean, spacious, obviously have many different books and magazines. Their café is great with nice professional staff. Nice chairs to sit in so you can lounge and read magazines all day without buying it.
