100% Perfect. My best friend got married here a few weekends ago. Where the held the ceremony by the river was absolutely beautiful. I grew up in Steamboat Springs and had never spent time at the Glen, now I’m feeling like I missed out all these years. The cabins were so cute, and there was enough for all of us to stay. there was activities for the kids, fishing for the boys, truly something for everyone. My friend couldn’t have picked a better place to have her wedding, and I know I’ll be back for several more weekend getaways!

My family and I stayed at this resort during the 4th of July weekend. What a treat this was. We didn’t get in until midnight and they had an envelope with our name waiting for us when we got there. Directions to our cabin(Rabbit Ears) were easy to follow, when we opened the door to the cabin we were surprised at how modern it was. When you first come in there is a mud room with an area to hang coats, store pool noodles and shoes as well as keep all the dirt in one area without tracking it into the whole cabin. Then you enter through another door and have an open room with a kitchen, dining room and a living room with a couch, chair, coffee table, fireplace and TV with cable. The couch is a fold out that sleeps two kids(mine are 6 and 7) perfectly. It has two rooms and two bathrooms as well. One room is a master with a window seat, closet, dresser and private bathroom with shower. The other has two twin beds, window seat, closet and dresser. Perfect for my two preteens. Everything is stocked! Linens, towels are replenished every day, soap, shampoo and conditioner. Hot water, enough for four kids to shower and still leave enough hot water for the adults. The kitchen has an electric stove/oven, dishwasher, large fridge and freezer as well as everything you will need for cooking. Lots of dishes and space to food prep. Outside the back door is a porch with two chairs, a picnic table and charcoal grill, perfect for outdoor dinner and breakfast off the porch. Our cabin had the beautiful sounds of the roaring Elk River and direct access to the stairs leading down to the river where we stood on the beach most nights throwing rocks in and getting some amazing photos. There is a swing set and horseshoes below that are free to use, we had a wonderful afternoon exploring. The office staff is sweet as pie and the site has a pool(kinda small but we were some of the only ones in it most of the weekend), two hot tubs and heated changing rooms and towels to use at the pool. This is a MUST for anyone staying in Steamboat that doesn’t mind the drive into town.(about 30 minutes) The views are worth it! My only small complaints: *The pool and hot tubs need to be repainted. They look worn and could use some TLC. The shower in the master bathroom is TINY! That might be the case only for this certain cabins since they are all owned by individuals, however it’s almost enough to make you claustrophobic. *The bedrooms could use some fans in them, Ceiling or stand alone, it would help on warmer summer nights to make things comfortable.

My wife, child, and I stayed at the Glen Eden Resort for a family reunion. The cabins are independently owned. Which is a nice touch in that each cabin is different and has its own flavor. The type of décor also varies for this reason. The resort maintains them as well as a hotel. We had fresh towels, soap, shampoo, and full room service when needed. The grounds are very well maintained. The pool was clean and very much needed in 95 degree sun. The jacuzzi was the opposite however. It was in desperate need of a deep cleaning. In all, the resort is unique and relaxing. Having a cabin by the river is a nice touch as well. I would recommend this resort to anyone having a group get-together. PS. In a time of unusual sustained heat, the bugs were out in full force.
