GrillMarX’s exceptional yet casual dining experience was created to offer a welcoming atmosphere in which to share a meal with friends and family, an important business colleague/client, or to celebrate a special occasion.
All our hand-cut steaks and house-filleted fresh fish are seared over our hickory wood burning grill, which gives your entre those grill marks reflected in our name. Come in and relax at our handcrafted bar while you enjoy a glass of wine from our well-thought-out yet affordable wine list. Sample some of today’s fresh oysters being shucked right in front of you as you soak up the energy of your surroundings.

History
Established in 2011.
Two longtime friends and restaurant boys got together to bring great service and delicious food to their hometown of Olney, Maryland. The goal was to create a place where people feel comfortable, yet classy and in love with their food! Everyday our guests enjoy the company of super terrific staff, friends and family while dining on amazing food and drinks.
Their philosophy of great food in a warm, inviting establishment really lends itself to our daily mission for our entire team.
Both Andy and Eric have worked at many reputable restaurants and have a huge following of friends, loyal guests, and restaurant professionals. The support from all of these groups has contributed to our success and we continue to make it our mission to impress everyone that comes in the door and to ensure their future return.

Andy Leach and Eric Cheadle L.
Business Owner
Andy and Eric have been in the restaurant business for their entire working career. While building business at mainly restaurants in Bethesda and Rockville, they decided to open one closer to home that had the atmosphere and service they found to be best over the years. Opening restaurants such as TGIFridays, Houstons in Bethesda and Rockville, Rock Bottom, Red Tomato, Wille-n-Reeds and Andy being former owner of Caddies, they have both accumulated loads of experience and viewpoints and ended up with the perfect combination in GrillMarx Steakhouse.
