History

Established in 2006.

Art has always been my great thrill. :)

1996 When my children were 6, 4, & 2 yrs old, I started teaching art for the moms’ kids at church. This went quite well & I was pleased with the results of our creative efforts.

2002 After much volunteering at my children school, presenting workshops of such themes as Jim Henson’s muppets & art festival days, an opportunity presented itself teaching art at the community center.

Beginning with a basic class for the 1st summer, I continued offering & expanding my efforts, using curriculums from my university classes. This too went well.

In passing one day, I just happened to mentioned to my husband that I would like to have a studio on the property, so that I could just paint all day and teach a few classes now & then.

In 2003 he started the studio! (It’s always good to express your opinions. :)

After much adieu, Voila! I’m in business.

With over 30 camps & classes year long, all I need to do now is find time to just paint all day. :)

Meet the Business Owner

Pamela P.

Business Owner

Hello,

Here is a bit about me.

I was born long ago in Ontario. I had a magical childhood. :)

One of 5 kids, we scrambled up rather than grew to adulthood. This involved a lot of tree climbing, soakers, bloody knees, skating on the creek & fighting like cats & dogs. We were lucky to be allowed to have many animals, thanks to our very tolerant mother & our very indulgent father. Favorite things include the beach, oil slicks, soap bubbles & playing outside until dark.

I chose to go to St. Clair College, where I took Interior Design because they offered art classes.

After graduating I attended the University of Windsor, here I attained a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree.

Next, I worked at an art gallery before marrying my husband, 26 yrs., Oh my! I then interpreted blueprints to illustrate auto parts for awhile until.

We were blessed with 3 uniquely talented children.

They have taken most of my classes, but alas, they have grown.

Today, I’m very thankful to be surrounded by your kids! :)
