SSF Submission Academy was started in 1997 in VA by Bill Anderson and Ronald Dayley. Ronald moved the HQ to Clarksville TN in 2006.

Ronald is the only trainer, manager in the Clarksville TN and Ft. Campbell KY area to take fighters to the UFC, Strikeforce, XFC, OneFC, Bodog… If you want to train with the best then SSF is your only choice.

Great instructors but the facility needs work. The matts have holes in them in addition to no working water in bathrooms or the water fountain which is unfortunate. At least provide water for your clientele/​athletes. Every gym should have these amenities.

Was not impressed with the facilities nor the owner. He was arrogant and seemed more interested in bragging than his fighters. The only coach I met seemed nice but not enough of a reason to commit to being there! I do not recommend!

Since having a baby four months ago, I decided to try a new work out. The pole dancing classes – which I like to call «pole exercise» lol– are actually pretty good. My arms are toned and a lot stronger even after three classes (I go once a week). This is definitely a very empowering work out, I like going to these classes.
My son tried out the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class also, he’s only four so I think he will need at least another year before he will be able to follow along with the other kids. Their class is geared more towards the older kids, so the young’ens don’t get the attention that is needed for a beginner. The good thing is that the kids can try out the first class for free, so it’s not like we lost out on any money.

SSF Submission Academy offers the only aerobic pole dancing class in Clarksville. The price is incredibly reasonable, the instructors are awesome, super helpful and funny. It is a great workout in a laid back welcoming atmosphere. NOT TO BE MISSED! Wed, Fri: 5p.m. and Sat at 9a.m. Worth getting out of bed for!
