Lunchtime is always bustling at ‘The Block’. We have a different Blue Plate Lunch Special everyday. One day you might find spaghetti or lasagna and one day might be chicken-n-dumplings. But one thing is for sure, you will not leave here hungry! Everything is homemade, including our delicious soups, salads and desserts. We also have many specialty sandwiches on the menu to include a Ribeye Steak sandwich, Rueben, Cuban, Fried Bologna, Club Sandwich, and our new Gyro. For a lighter lunch, you might opt for homemade chicken or tuna salad on a bed of lettuce or a turkey sandwich. Let’s not forget about our famous Twice Baked Potato… it’s HUGE and can be made a lunch in itself!
We carry Dietz & Watson lunchmeats and cheeses which can be purchased by the pound, or used to make you a sandwich right on the spot! All of our homemade salads, including pimiento cheese, broccoli salad, potato salad, and slaw can also be purchased by the pound. We also sell our homemade desserts by the slice or
History
Established in 2006.
December 2006, The Choppin’ Block opened its doors to serve as Clarksville’s only full service butcher shop. But what you can get here goes far beyond the meat counter. Open at 6am on weekdays and 7am on Saturdays, The Choppin’ Block serves up a hearty breakfast to get your day started. Fried porkchops, assorted meat & biscuits, omelets, and steak & eggs are some of the most popular items among our customers. You can also keep it simple with a bowl of cereal or oatmeal.

The true foundation of The Choppin’ Block is the meat counter and our Butchers. We offer a variety of the finest beef, chicken, pork, and seafood products. All of our meats are cut or ground to order, which allows us to ensure maximum freshness and provide you with the customized service you deserve. Our knowledgeable staff is always available to recommend a certain cut or share preparation techniques.
